I always find it so annoying when it's a really old house, i remember commenting on this last year where the youngest we got was like 28 year olds & they made **** housemaes but i loved the season before with dappy, luisa, lee, jasmine, casey all basically sex addicts who craved attention. Calum best was signed up to "sex up the house" but looking at the rumour list, who's he gonna pull linda evans?? Be amazing if he did but that's not gonna happen, i don't mean loads of good looking constructed reality stars but ones that will make great housemates. What you guys think?

I much preferred the last cbb to the one with all the lee drama in it.

I like the older ones and some of the younger ones,but i'm sure most people don't want to see all young sex starved stallions and fillies pretending to make out and fall in love just to get viewing figures,BB showmances are boring,the age of a housemate doesn't bother me ,just want good housemates

Last year's youngest was 27/28 this year's cast are at least mid thirties

I don't see why there is such an importance placed on age, especially when the biggest characters of last year included 61 year old Jim, 55 year old Linda and 70 year old Gary.

I'd rather have a mostly older house then mostly younger house, and lmao younger people are not more entertaining at all, mostly all they do is have a showmance and bitch

But with older people they've got a lot more character as a housemate, they also get a lot more angry easily and will say it too your face then bitch behind the persons back

he's not saying he just wants a young house...more a diverse one. people would be saying the same if it was just younger people in.

Oh I definitely prefer a good mix. I hate how on normal BB we tend to just get 18-30s

While I agree that we need a balance of young to old, male to female, I really think age is immaterial - it's the Celebrity themselves who are important.

Some actors are totally lost without a script - young and old - and contribute zilch by way of 'entertainment'.

Some 'Comedians' - even the funny ones on stage - are introverted bores off stage.

I would switch channels in an instant if the house just comprised of 'Towie' or 'Geordie Shore' 'yoofs', and basically agree with Lily'sWeaveAngel and karl.

One old Gary Busey is worth a hundred Gemma Collins - not that you could fit a 100 Gemma Collins in the Wembley Stadium , let alone the CBB house. :hehe:

I have no interest in people getting off with each other in BB, so the less of that the better for me.

So there are people who watch BB for the sex? I thought that was all just Daily Star trash but apparently that's what a portion of the viewers want.

I allways find the house is more entertaining when there is a mix of housemates Channel 5 got it terribly wrong the first series they aired when everyone Bar Aaron was under 30.

The best housemates have been older but then again I don't see 28 as being old neither is someone in their mid 30's.

I don't care what the age of the Housemates are gonna be, or hell even if it was more of one gender over the other, as long as they pick good Housemates I'll be happy.
