I just saved a Fruit Fly - heart warming Christmas tale

A little Fruit Fly has been buzzing around me as I worked this avvo, i was pleased to see him this week as most have passed on to the great fly graveyard in the sky:bawling:

Just then i went to have a wee drink of my selected malt for Sunday and to my horror there he was, the sweet amber nectar was too tempting to him - he had drowned.

I carefully lifted him out on to a tea towel and put him on a heater and to my delight he revived, staggered a little and flew off.

If that is not what Christmas and baby Jesus is all about then I dont know what is?

I used to imprison mosquitoes and torture them for no apparent reason. They called me the Moss murderer. :hehe:

In my defense they did suck lots of my blood and also irritate me when sleeping on multiple occasions.

Nice story but why even bother?

Horrible little things.

Are you sure he flew off? I'm wondering if somewhere in your house there's a spider who's enjoyed a seasonally prepared fly in whisky.

Funny time of year for flies, maybe bring your spring cleaning forward?
