BIG BROTHER 2015 PROJECT- A complete overhaul - Civilian House Completed

I've been working on this for about a month now and its basically completely done. I've decided to take a completely different approach to normal.

EYE

EXTERIOR
  • The stands have been removed so it will just have a stripped back C4 crowd.
  • The eye stage has been removed, Instead there is an open stage
  • The enterance has been put back to the floor
  • There is a small amount of stands against the walls to host family and friends

The eye is cool! :amazed: Unsure about the house though :(

T* 22-12-2014 11:38 PM

i love the tv/diary room/entrance doors and the pattern around it

T* 22-12-2014 11:38 PM

actually the house is growing on me

Thanks Tom

Adore the exterior so much:love:

Like Tom I was unsure about the house at first glance but now I like it!

Exterior stage is good. It's a nice refreshing design. The house isn't the nicest design you've done and I feel like you've actually taken a step backwards from your previous design. The doors and the Diary Room wall are brilliant, apart from that is seems a bit basic.

Sam:) 23-12-2014 11:28 PM

Thanks Jarrod! I see what you mean about the house, I think its just a bit bare and plain so I spruced it up a little bit.

REVISED LOUNGE
  • Three chairs have been removed and replaced with a long backless chair
  • The dining table has been placed inside
  • The sofas have been completely changed around, given a less plain look

BATHROOM
  • The bathroom overlooks the garden and there is another door that connects it to the main bedroom.
  • It has a kind of a foresty summer feel

I like the layout of the house but the patterns on the walls all clash too much for me.

Mrbigbrother 24-12-2014 07:09 AM

Now there is too much clashing

Jarrod 24-12-2014 02:33 PM

The living area is better. I like it, but the bathroom seems a bit crowded. I think with your designs they all have the same thing in common - they're all small houses and have too many cramped corners/areas. I think if you're designing a house for something like Big Brother you need to have open spaces. Not just for the camera angles but for the Housemates too. If a House has too many cramped areas it would be horrific to live in and a nightmare for the production team.

However, I really do like how far you've come since you started making these houses and you can only improve now. They're still brilliant, I'm not saying that at all, I'm just saying we could do with a few more open spaces and less clashing.

Not too sure about the house but love the logo and overall look of the show, plus the entrance.

I don't think an open stage works at all though, although the overall layout looks better. I'd either go for a small studio (essentially replacing the current eye), or for something new. The crowd add nothing to the show other than a chorus of boos, so don't be afraid to rethink the exterior set up completely.

I love the bathroom but the middle duck egg blue floral wallpaper is quite vile and out of place, maybe use the cherry blossom wallpaper for the top and bottom side and the red wallpaper from the shower in the middle

I agree tom, I feel like a lot of the wallpapers look out of place and they seem to clash a lot. Maybe it would work better if each room had a colour scheme!

Okay, I know the patterns in the bathrooms clashed but that was kind of how I envisioned it. I realise it doesnt look great. Anyway, Ill carry on. I had a completed celebrity house but it got deleted so Im going to try whip one up for now.

GARDEN
  • Large and open. You can basically see every room in the house from here.
  • The outdoor lounge has a canopy over it and doubles as a smoking area
  • The vegtable patch returns.

BEDROOM ONE
  • Bedroom one is the not so nice bedroom
  • There is a small washroom in the corner, with a cold water shower
  • No hidden storage so everything has to be hung out for everything to be seen

http://i.imgur.com/Z7mBtR2.jpg

BEDROOM TWO
  • A much nicer roomier bedroom than the first one
  • Can sleep 12 out of 14 housemates
  • Its connected to the main bathroom and garden
  • A lot of drawers and storage for housemates, there is also a dressing area where the hair appliances can be.

I love the entrance to the Diary Room and the DR chair. It works really well. Bedroom two is very nice indeed.

unoino 17-01-2015 03:19 PM

Its brilliant.."well done"...however just missing one minor detail....The circus tent for Twatty Michelle and "monkeyboy" Callum...These clowns are hillarious and would give so much fun to the public if they could be a proper clown double act performing at the Big Top !

Cal. 17-01-2015 03:21 PM

DR is amazing!:amazed:
