ebay stress

Is bidding on ebay the most stressful thing ever?
There's three hours to go and I CAN'T COPE :/

AnnieK 29-12-2014 01:13 PM

There is a site you can use to snipe bids Kizzy. If you put in your maximum bid and say when you want to place it (it will do it with 2 seconds to go). Then you can sit back and relax until the auction is over

Kizzy 29-12-2014 01:20 PM

Really, what is it? :D
How do you know what the max bid is?

Crimson Dynamo 29-12-2014 01:22 PM

You should try a real auction when you know what your bidding on will easily make 10X what you are going to pay for it and you are hoping no one else has spotted it

http://www.goofbid.com

You have to decide what you are willing to go up to....and stick to it really..

So basically become an expert in antiques or some such thing... yes thanks for that suggestion

lily. 29-12-2014 01:45 PM

I've become an expert sniper on ebay but it is very stressful and when I get outbid at the last second I get well annoyed lol

AnnieK 29-12-2014 01:47 PM

Yeah I snipe all the time but get p'd off when someone else does it even though I do it all the time....

Crimson Dynamo 29-12-2014 01:54 PM

Its better to find things that are badly photographed, in the wrong section and ending at silly times. Then you dont need to worry as hardly anyone spots them

Josy 29-12-2014 03:12 PM

I only ever use 'Buy it now' can't be doing with bidding.

Locke. 29-12-2014 03:19 PM

I'm the same. I always get carried away with bidding and get in the mind set that "I have to win" and end up paying a fortune

Kizzy 29-12-2014 04:02 PM

I won...... I need a valium

Put your maximum bid in Kizzy ,no one else can see it.then you can relax a bit,you will still get the item at the bid price NOT your maximum bid(unless of course you have gone up to that amount .:wavey:

Kizzy 29-12-2014 04:35 PM

Thanks kaz, I ended up doing that just putting in a max bid and trying to relax. In the end it had 12 bids and came close to my max but I won :cheer2:

It was a Laura Ashley sofa, I'm sooooo happy :D
