Due to Ed being far to Left wing
even though Blair has backed tracked
from what he said in the New Statesman.

The Editor was just on Ch4HD news
saying Blair said Conservatives will Win
as Ed is to much Far left

Utter Bliss

Yeah... Blair's not famous for being right about stuff, is he. And what a kick in the arse for his own party.

He's also not famous for being left-wing... so his comments are completely unsurprising.

Also worth noting that he is currently worth a lot more than he was 15 years ago and so I'd be very surprised if he isn't a covert Conservative voter at this point. Hell, he's probably a benefactor.

Blair coming for SamPVT's title of 'prediction oracle'?

Well really Tony Blair led a milder form of Conservative govt. in the main,I really think he needs to keep out of UK politics now.
Even if he had originally said that Labour would win the next election, I doubt his word carries much weight with the vast majority of the UK electorate now.

He would never have advocated more policies described as left which would have then left the choice in the 2015 election even far worse than it is now.

Blair worked really hard whilst in office - not on the implementing of new policies but perpetuating his mentor Maggie's policies by camouflaging them as his own.

A totally irrelevant, impotent prick.

I could write loads about this greedy, selfish money obsessed ex politician, war criminal.

But suffice to say he should be consigned to the history books under " M" for mass murderers, and never be seen or heard in public again.

Blair the worst wolf in sheeps clothing only Johnson comes close, the tories don't have the total monopoly on maniacal despots.

orwellkafkararara 02-01-2015 12:19 PM

Blair has said Conservatives will Win the Election ... says right-wing news media. This really is a non-story, most likely published with an intention to exploit the herd-mentality of the foot-shooting masses.

Given how far right the status quo is (when compared to post-WW2 Britain as a whole), a so called centrist position would give people little reason to go out and vote for them. Given that the income distribution is right-skewed, a staunchly left-ward shift (funded by an increase in high-end income taxes), would be to the advantage of the vast majority of Brits.

I would honestly prefer the conservatives winning than UKIP
