Mugu losing to Kerbs after winning the first set 6-0..
The mental side to her game isn't there yet
She seems to plays better against top players, Serena, Li Na, Aga
And great win for Delpo, thought he would struggle for a few months before finding his best again
Pironkova loves playing at Sydney, she is uneaten there in about 12 matches now, she had to qualify this time as well
Sloane vs Vika
Caro vs Townsend.. could face Vika
I hope you're ready Andrew
This is the most awkward draw i've ever seen
Women's singles projected QF's: Williams v Wozniacki, Kvitova v Radwanska, Ivanovic v Halep & Sharapova v Bouchard
12 GS semi finalists in this quarter http://i.imgur.com/4LIoiYL.png |
Amazing draw for both mens and womens really, not great for my favourites but there should be some great matches
Good draw for Ana, she has a great chance to make the semis
Not the worse draw for Mugu considering how bad some are.. A nice match against an out of form Serena awaits |
if watson can destroy Sloane then it should be a stroll for Vika and as for Caro i think Vika is pretty much a nightmare opponent for her in any situation so it could have been worse i suppose, Maria got the best draw i reckon, avoided Petra and Serena.
Del Petro v Jerzy and Brown v Dimi should be good on the Mens side |
Ula!!! one match away from the main draw now, the eastern Europeans seem to be doing really well in the qualfying this year, Piter, Panova, Bychkova, Rodina, Prysiezny, and Govortsova looking like she is knocking Doi out
Good match this Watson and Riske one, apart from the rain delays, Watson serving for a place in the final now against Bengle/Nara
Mugbug
Watson in the Hobart final then
without dropping a set all tournament
Watson wins the Hobart International :clap1: it feels a bit odd seeing a Brit from the WTA winning something
I never doubted her (constantly did all week). :clap2:
Tough opener for Heather
Order of play for Monday is out, Looks like it'll be an all nighter with Genie on so late. Monday night will be much better though, that half is much stronger & will have some great games.
