I made it myself! I just followed what I see on screen. Thank you :)

I'll post a proper update tonight, I have the Housemates Unlocked studio, logo and format.

Jarrod 24-01-2015 08:20 PM

Big Brother: Housemates Unlocked is a brand new spin-off show that will air on Channel 5 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10pm. Hosted by Emma Willis on Monday and Wednesday, and Rylan Clark on Friday, it will focus on relationships and events in the House, mainly after key events in the House, nominations, shopping tasks and the evictions.

This show will have a small studio audience to give their opinions and will have expert psychological debate. It'll be more like Big Mouth.

Good to see you move out of Elstree. Big Brother outgrew it's compound nearly a decade ago now!

As for the spin-offs, I would keep Emma just to the main show and have one presenter (or presenting duo) for all episodes of Housemates Unlocked.

I was thinking maybe bringing in Matt Johnson to do the HM Unlocked show, with Rylan.

Lovely set! Particularly love the table and sofa!

Jarrod 24-01-2015 09:56 PM

Thank you! As always, there are hints as to what to expect in the House..

Morgana 25-01-2015 12:26 AM

Not entirely convinced by the rabbit warren of round stages and walkways linking them

Jarrod 25-01-2015 06:22 PM

Would you prefer them not to be linked?

Jarrod 25-01-2015 07:07 PM

Big Brother: Revealed is a brand new teatime show presented by Matt Johnson and Rylan Clark. The show will air for 30 minutes on Channel 5 everyday at 6pm. The show will be stripped back and feature the latest news and developing stories from the Big Brother House. The studio will be small and basic, with screens and a desk for the presenter. The studio will be in the same place as the HM Unlocked stage, meaning that it can be used for HM Unlocked if it is needed.

Monday - Thursday: Matt Johnson
Thursday - Sunday: Rylan Clark

I can imagine Matt Johnson & Rylan Clark being a great pair!

I think it would look neater if there weren't so many of them... you could probably get rid of the walkway linking to the stage in the audience area.

You could try linking the the stage with the 3 seats to stage with the couch through a curved walkway that also has the stairs come down onto... similar to whats in the current BOTS studio.

I'm trying to move away from the BOTS studio as It's old and dated but I appreciate your comments.

Not a huge fan of that studio layout it has to be said - seems an awful waste of space with different presenting areas for the sake of it. They seem pointless when they're all on one level - at the very least as you've put stairs in I'd have a small balcony area that can be used, then really at most you need two seating areas - usually a sofa area and a more formal presentation area.

Also IMO the set feels very isolated from Big Brother. I think sets for these sort of shows work best when they seem to be in the middle of things, so I do think the set should have some kind of link either with production or with the house.

I've always said that studios were my weakness and it shows really. I can do exteriors but when it comes to studios I'm rubbish.

Thanks for your feedback Brekkie. I always appreciate your comments, and as we're getting to the House now anyway - just for you, here is a layout plan.

Thanks Glenn. I'm a bit worried about this one really because of how well my Viacom project went. I hope you're well

Big Brother House: The Exterior/Studio

Big Brother's new location means that the exterior can be expanded and new things added. With the new location, comes a revamped exterior and new features, alongside old favourites. Big Brother's exterior starts with the iconic eye shaped stage surrounded by screens with the new logo,

The eye stage leads down with a catwalk to an eye shaped podium which leads to a ground entrance door to the Big Brother House. Continuing from the eye podium is an outdoor area which can be used for special live shows, interviews (which I have shown the set-up for) and as an extra presenting space during eviction shows.

Inside the eye, the studio has been extended and redesigned. The door leads to a podium which can be used to present, then a link to a smaller podium with chairs allows for interviews to take place.

For someone who can't do studios inside the eye looks pretty good. Although personally I'd be looking at alternatives to the crowd for the "front of the house" I quite like what you've done with it.

Jarrod 27-01-2015 08:21 PM

Thank you! The main changes are obviously the House, which I'm excited about and I'll post soon.

Jarrod 28-01-2015 08:38 PM

Bump.
