New Arena/Studio Concept
 

Hi TiBB,

I have been working on a new concept for the Arena and Studio using SketchUp. I'm at the final touches stage of the model but I am giving some snippets from it's current state.

I'm using the "Power Trip" eye just as an example as to how it would look and it change according to the eye design of a series...

Looks promising

This new design includes the return of the cars on Launch Night as well as retaining the grandstand and the eye stage that will continue to be used for eviction interviews.


The interview stage now has a new set of stairs leading into the eye which mimic the stairs leading into the house. There is now somewhat of a stage directly outside the eye which can be utilized for interviews on finale night.


The catwalk is now flat rather than sloped and leads from one round podium to another which leads to a Channel 4 style of staircase which takes you to the front door.


The front of the house now features lights that have various functions as well as a large screen that has various purposes.


The friends and family area has been moved to the back and faces the house. The grandstand features the same lights as what's on the front of the house.

Inside the eye, there is a larger set of stairs down to a larger interview stage that has 4 TV screens and large eye shaped lights... In a way this resembles the Australian Big Brother Auditorium.

After the launch, the runway from the car drop off will be closed up and filled in with crowd space for Evictions.

I like this! It's familiar yet it's new at the same time, and I don't think it's unrealistic to what Channel 5 might do. Good work!

Looks great, loving the blue light going across the house :love:.

Like the idea - one minor thing though is I think it would make sense if you could see the front door from inside the eye rather than just the corner of the house.
