Michelle erm...

You do Rapauls Drag Race that reinforces the gay stereotype worse than perez :umm2:

Samm 16-01-2015 08:52 PM

She's amazing :clap1:

smudgie 16-01-2015 08:53 PM

Think she was just a tad over the top there.

Jay. 16-01-2015 08:54 PM

I don't know what she was really talking about, when the source of that argument was mostly Cami and Chloe?

Withano 16-01-2015 08:55 PM

Are you calling all gays dragqueens or all dragqueens gays? Because..

Smithy 16-01-2015 08:56 PM

Drag is a bit of fun Ben, not all gay people do drag :umm2:, pigrez is a disgusting human representing a community and his actions reflect on them

Pete. 16-01-2015 08:57 PM

Michelle is amazing I really hope she wins now :clap1:

Not all gays act like Perez. I'm not saying it's not fun ( I like the show) but that reinforces the stereotypical gay just ss much as Perez, Smithy, making Michelle's speech pointless and hypocritical.

Drag queens are a bit of fun and not representative of their community, but Perez is representative?

If people know that not all gays are camp and do drag then surely they're intelligent enough to know they're not all like Perez either?

Thank you. :clap1:

People using the gay card against Perez is really awful.

BBfan46 16-01-2015 09:35 PM

I actually found it more annoying that people should be expected to connect Perez' behaviour with his homosexuality.

He's an arse at times but Michelle is not impressing me lately.

chuff me dizzy 16-01-2015 09:36 PM

She's was spot on

Llewyn 16-01-2015 09:37 PM

Shes going so downhill, give it a few more days and she will be despised by the public.

InOne 16-01-2015 09:38 PM

I think she was talking from an American point of view. We're a lot more accepting over here.

No she wasn't chuff, speaking as if she had the gay community's voice is one of my most hated things and she spoke as if she was representing me. She wasn't and isn't, neither is Perez.

Crimson Dynamo 16-01-2015 09:40 PM

John inman will be spinning in his grave

Amy Jade 16-01-2015 09:43 PM

Honestly I think she's just very protective over the gay community and is sad to see somebody like Perez representing the community, which he does - he's feeding into a stereotype and sadly it does garner less that kind comments and views.

Crimson Dynamo 16-01-2015 09:45 PM

Look at how fantastic Scott Mills was on Strictly

If i were gay i know who i would be looking up to

And it aint Perez

Amy, if people think he represents us and that we are all like that I am more disappointed in them tbh, not him who is being himself.

You know Rylan is just as camp (maybe without the mirror licking) but nobody cares that he reinforces the camp stereotype.

The whole point is all people are different, gay or straight, so I don't see why sexuality should play any part in a hate/dislike/love for anyone

You just didn't understand it I think.

She is such an advocate for the whole of the gay community not just people in drag that's just a show she works on.

She is huge in supporting gay rights and meeting people like Perez Hilton who is making gay men look like utter ***** is why she is getting so upset.

She wants gay men to be treated equally and not as freaks and perverts like in the 1950's and she is afraid the UK will generalise all gay people based on Perez's actions.

In MY opinion she was spot on

No, he's acting up, like he always done, this is nothing different for him. If he wants to be that the so be it. people who assume we will all be offended by it are what annoys me? Why should I be offended? because I'm gay? Do people say like Cami embarrass you as a straight person because they portray straight people?
