Between Katie H and Perez is this

Whatever Katie says or does, there is strong conviction behind it which she's willing to debate and take on the counter argument.

She doesn't get offended, she sensibly talks through issues and accepts the other person opinion.

What Perez is doing is playing the bigot card with zero conviction just to shut down a conversation he doesn't want to or is incapable of debating.

If he accused certain views she may have on things as homophobic in the course of a debate relating to gay issues then (while I'm sure she might disagree) she would take it on board.

But that wasn't the case.

Katie has never tried to label him with any of the 'rule breaker key words' in a bid to actually have him removed.
As a gay guy any straight person defending Perez pulling out the Homophobic card in an attempt to play the game can simply do one. Michelle was right, he's undermines our fight with every word out of his mouth.

I agree there are differences, but unfortunately for both of them are the similarities, which have been good for us the viewers.

Perez is silly and Katies' pompous diatribe indeed reduced by Perez to nothing by silliness. No big deal though.

I totally agree. Perez admitted that he would look for housemates weaknesses and exploit them and using the homophobic card is one I expected him to use.
Remember at the start of the show in the task where he verbally attacked Katy H? She put her hand lightly on his arm and he reacted as if she had struck him.
This is what Perez does. Takes a tiny little thing and makes it a huge offensive action.

she's a walking hypocrite, slagging perez for playing up to the cameras then goes and gets her face tanned before going out in the garden in the middle of winter with some tin foil..Christ.

She is strong I give her that,however as to her integrity,well what she says comes from prejudices she has and her perceived views of others which are often derogatory towards them, no matter the reaons they are in the position or condition they are.

They are also views of people she looks down on and sees as beneath her so her integrity if she has any is badly flawed by the use of those prejudices to generalise on groups of people.
That for me, is not something to be admired in anyone, that they judge and condemn people out of their own prejudices and in Katie Hopkins case, unjustifiable views of them too.

So I have to overall disagee with the op as to that.
