Content Warnings

Really getting sick of these warnings. We all know that BB contains bad language etc. Seriously, we don't need warned after every commercial break..

Josy 25-01-2015 08:50 PM

Same they are bloody annoying

I suppose it's to warn the Ofcom brigade though

Pincho Paxton 25-01-2015 08:51 PM

They set me up for action.

Braden 25-01-2015 08:52 PM

So unnecessary.

They're trying to make the show like Geordie Shore more than ever.

ebandit 25-01-2015 08:55 PM

It's because they've stopped doing them during the continuity announcement before the show. Why they've stopped doing this I have no idea, but I agree that it's getting annoying now.

Lostie! 25-01-2015 09:01 PM

It's so over-the-top.

I get it in specific episodes if something in particular that could cause offence happens, but every single episode?

I could deal with them if they were less OTT, though. "BEEEWAAAREEE" and "BRACE YOURSELVESS!" is unintentionally hilarious.

MTVN 25-01-2015 09:04 PM

Probably worth it to make sure their ass is completely covered, its the most complained about show on television

Braden 25-01-2015 09:05 PM

"BEWARE!! offensive language!!!"

What's so frightening about swear words?

Try them on Patsy, and You'll find out! :joker:

lily. 25-01-2015 09:07 PM

I think it's a given that BB will contain something offensive.

Jamesy 25-01-2015 09:07 PM

I don't mind it at the start, although after every break it does get tedious.

Daniel-X 25-01-2015 09:07 PM

They really annoy the life out of me.

I wouldn't mind if it was just one at the beginning of the show but it's after every add break

Samm 25-01-2015 09:20 PM

I don't get annoyed there only about 5/10 seconds long

lily. 25-01-2015 09:21 PM

Then you have more patience than me Sam lol

Jack_ 25-01-2015 09:34 PM

As with everything on C5 they're more tacky and over the top than anything, it's just embarrassing. 'BEWARE!'...what's wrong with 'Warning'? 'Brace yourselves' :umm2: this isn't a ride at Alton Towers it's a television show. And what's with the ridiculous exaggeration? Tonight's was a joke, going on about 'very aggressive confrontations' I mean hardly anything happened ffs, God knows how they'd have described Fight Night using this system.

I used to get excited when they'd have an end of break continuity announcement about 'very strong language' or something, these are just awful though. **** people who complain, I wish channels and even Ofcom themselves would stop pandering to people who shouldn't even own a TV in the first place.

InOne 25-01-2015 09:38 PM

I think it's worse that Marcus narrates it. His voice is just all over these days, he should've stuck to being the voice of BB. He's got his own personality over the last few years and that's not what BB is about.

I was thinking the same thing lily. Surely nobody lets their kids watch it. Its an adult show and those of us that watch it EXPECT nudity bad language etc. I am getting sick of it also and its also on a few times during BBOTS

waterhog 25-01-2015 09:43 PM

its to make the show more appealing - infarct it is doing the opposite - yes i am going to do a poem on a warning.

Johnnyuk123 25-01-2015 09:45 PM

Its because they love DA DRAMAZ and like to hype it up to get us all to watch (which is silly because people who will watch are already, and people who dont wont see em!)
