I actually HATE this new trend with BB of focusing solely on one dominant character to the detriment of every other housemate in there.

Its happened several times in the last 2 years.

19 minutes of highlights tonight and a lot of them focused on Perez's time in the small room.

SO unfair to the other housemates and all their fans.

And its not because he is more entertaining, its because he divides opinion so completely.

They're using him as the cash cow to set up a battle for the win between his fans and his haters.

They used to devote this time to love triangles but now they know the public like (what they interpret to be) and underdog.

Its sadly now typical.

Unpleasant housemate enters and causes chaos. Dominates the house and makes everyone else on edge and uncomfortable.

Another housemate stands up to them and the forums decide the unpleasant housemate is being *ahem* BULLIED (so tired of this word)

Were now making underdogs out of people who clearly aren't underdogs.

He is the most irritating, annoying housemate in 15 years.

Hes ruined what could have been an amazing series.

Hes ruined everyones experience in there.

More so Nadia's (who would have been loved if she could relax) even Patsy said Nadia was happy to see the back of him.

Probably focusing on him cos the rest are boring as hell.

Putting on make-up - oooh exciting
Applying fake tan - oooh exciting
Exercising in the garden - oooh exciting
Cami Li laying on top of Callum - oooh exciting

It is not the Perez show it is CBB and he has domineered it and made everyone think it is his show.

There are other HMs who havent had camera time at all in the edits, just look at their best bits...I watch and then think well we didnt see that. Plenty of fun going on but we are not allowed to see it because his ego is so great he thinks the british public love him.

Thats all they choose to show.

If Perez hadn't have been in there everyone else could have formed proper relationships with each other. There would have been different narratives.

It would have allowed the house some breathing room

Instead we have battle lines drawn and everyone on edge and tense.

Its just not enjoyable

And they have shown the others doing things, I listed some of them above.

Then stop watching.

You may find him oh so entertaining, but you know he is the root cause of ALL the house tensions

He has ruined several housemates experience in there and he has ruined this series for me.

Well that was silly wasn't it, you just jumped to a conclusion and a very wrong conclusion at that.

I don't like Perez, I don't find him entertaining. (I found him quite funny last night though)

I disagree with you that he has caused all of the house tensions now that right there is what you call a blinkered view on your part.

Boohoo if he has ruined the series for you, you can't have everything the way you want all the time, life doesn't work like that and since BB is a reality TV show neither does that!

Fight! Fight! Fight!

I don't think any particular housemate has been the root of ALL tension in there, Perez and Katie Hopkins are the worst offenders and have both goaded each other constantly and both have been very transparent about it whilst doing so.

Cami Li also causes some tensions when she has a drink and starts getting aggressive and argumentative and also Kav can be a bit of a tit when he's had a drink too (which he hasn't been since the Keith thing as far as I'm aware).

So for you to say the hm you hate is the one that causes every problem in there is actually a blinkered view.

The point of my post Kazanne was that we have been shown the other housemates doing things which were pretty uninteresting the past few nights, it was in reply to the OP saying showing Perez is a detriment to the other housemates, which I disagree with if they are doing boring things when they are shown.

Its easy, watch something else. The housemate's have ruined their own experience of Big Brother by not accepting Perez for what he is and either embracing him or ignoring him. So glad BB took the pleasure of nominating Perez away from the other HM's. Such a clever move.:smug:

Perez is entitled to be himself but it seems everyone else wants him to conform to their own model of what he should be. Its the age old intolerant of everyone else story that blights humanity. Live and let live, everyone is different. Embrace the differences.

The housemates need to take responsibility for their own lives in the BB House. If they don't get on in front of the camera like Perez does they have no right to blame their apathy on him. Afterall, when the footage is cut and pasted - someone judges what is most entertaining. So far........Perez has made the cut!
