why cant we take pics at the evictions?
 

I went to patsy's eviction last night and i was on the platform right by the house near the entrance anx walk way nd i really wanted to take a pic but i wasnt allowed, I had to sneek a pic wen i was leaving the compound but one guy took a picture and he was told to delete it by security. i even had to wait to see my texts lol.

It's the same when I went. It's not the show that tell them no, it's rules at Elstree.. that's what I was told anyway.

it will be in case you manage to take a pic of a celeb with a finger up their nose or something. Only official pics where they are officially posing

Pics of the evictee all over the Internet..before it has even been anounced.


I thnk it used to actually happen.

The press have exclusivity (sorry cant spell that) They get to take the official photos and BB doesn't want a crowd member taking them and perhaps selling them on to the media. That's my take on it anyway

When I went last year I was told that it was due to the show being filmed around 10 minutes before transmition. So they don't want people taking pictures of housemates evictions and putting them on the Internet before they are broadcast

I think it's because it's not exactly live! I went to BB 15 launch and we were out of the compound by 10:32 and the show was listed to end at 10:40, although I asked one of the security guards if it's live and she said its live with no delay!

Let's face it, would you trust one of those crowd members standing right beneath Emma with a camera? :umm2:

The show is broadcast completely live when it airs from 9pm until 10:30. If the show is on any longer [e.g 9pm until 11pm] then it is broadcast on a delay, but no editing is done to the program itself. It's all raw footage. When I went to an eviction during BB14 it started at 9pm and we left the House at 10:35ish.

I guess its fair enough to have that rule, considering the press photographers are there, and it's so annoying when it leaks on Twitter who went out before it goes out on TV; this happened with Sam in BB14, pictures were on Twitter before the winner was announced.

Also, it probably would look really bad if everyone was watching the eviction through their phones, like seems to happen at football matches.

But pictures before and after should be allowed; it's meant to be an occasion after all.

when channel 4 had big brother i used to go to the evictions all the time and i used to be able to take a lot of pictures but now you have to sneak It if you can that is as Security have eyes everywhere. it would have been nice to have at least 3 or 4 for pictures Of the evening :)
