Anyone shocked not to of seen the return of last years winner?

I would of expected at the final the previous years winner would of done a song or atleast of been in the audience watching but he wasn't there. Anyone else find that rather odd?...Simon said on Xtra factor he is bringing out a second album along with Journey South later in the year. Would Shayne of taken the focus away from Leona maybe?

i think they should of bought the x factor winner from last year back to sing

I never liked Shayne Ward, so I wasn't bothered either.

The programme did fine without him.
Still fantastic Saturday night entertainment.

Its quite a shock to see that there are not many die hard Shayne fans around anymore. This time last year they were in force...just shows to show what a year does.
