As title really, why are people so polarised nowadays?

Yawn! It's a TV show, why are there so many of these really serious threads.

I guess the forum affords us the right to voice a view which are so different but its a mini platform to voice views with no fear of repercussions.

I doubt there is any "nowadays" about it.

You mean when people like Hopkins are allowed to spread general bigotries against groups of people

and call for the genocide and mass bombings of people.

These things are serious,are they not,and deserve a serious response.

Or you mean when people actually support these beliefs and help them spread.

They cause terrorist acts and serious violence between groups,

I'm not a KH fan, but posting exaggerations will only help her.

Only 2-3,5 (approximately) million in the UK watch Big Brother with maybe a +500 000-1 000 000 also reading about it. The other 59-62 million do and watch other things and/or simply do not care about it.

i blame twiiter - if something is said on that its gospel and the need to go out and find out for yourself has been eroded - now everything is done by twitter.
