Check out this convo between Nadia, her husband and Eamonn Holmes

Eamonn seriously needs to grow up lol I cant believe as a broadcaster he would stoop to posting such a childish tweet.

I want him in there next year and to see how he feels about the edit because im pretty sure all that will make the edit is his cockiness and patronising behaviour.

his only redeeming feature is he's a United fan

They might have to switch off for a few days because of the mocking that Nadia will get.

Stormy 01-02-2015 02:07 PM

Good on Nadia's husband for attempting to defend her. I would expect no less and would be disappointed in him if he actually turned on his wife.

That said...Eamonn is right. Nadia was very hypocritical. She held Hopkins to standards that she let Perez completely stomp over. Like I've said before, if you're going to keep harping on someone while using a moral 'measuring tape'...then it should apply to all, including her precious Perez...otherwise you're nothing but a hypocritical, two-faced harpy...which is what Nadia was acting like in the house.

There is always some truth in the factor that not everything is shown but enough was shown of Nadia taking the reins in the beginning, putting her ethics forward for Ken and Jeremy and then supporting the likes of Perez because he knew what he was doing when he said he was going to hang on to her.

It is the others whom I feel sorry for the likes of Kav, Calum and Cali, not a lot has been shown of their talents.

:clap1::clap1:

Exactly. She still can't fathom it, or does not want to more like.

Why is he so unprofessional? Is it because he has an opinion that doesn't match yours? Is it because he dares to have an opinion at all? Is it because he stands by his opinion and doesn't sugar coat it when he has a chance to confront one of the housemates?

Should he just pretend that everyone in the house is just lovely and say nothing controversial? Personally, that would just seem disingenuous to me.

Fair point. Personally, it annoys me each year, when houseguests come out and get the "magnolia" treatment by Emma or the other interviewers. I like when their choices and/or behavior in the house are challenged. This is why I appreciated Eamonn challenging Nadia. If he wasn't there, it would be a total pleasant love fest. I would love it if they had him on to question Perez and Hopkins. He won't soften it for them either.

I never watched BB when Davina was hosting, but from what I hear she would put their feet to the fire. This is what I like, instead of the soft treatment when they get out.

I think there's ways of doing that though without being so rude, the example you gave, Davina was able yo do that where as I just found Eamonn Holmes rude and disrespectful tbqh

Totally agree. I also loved what Nadia's husband said of her 'friendship' with Perez. That she could invite him home for tea if she wished, but that he would suddenly find a reason to be out. Or words to that effect:laugh:

That's so true. It definitely shows us what he really thinks of Nadia's choice to be friends with Perez...however, he loves her and will defend her to the public as a good partner does.

smudgie 01-02-2015 04:53 PM

Rather silly of him considering his wife works with Nadia:laugh:

All a bit OTT if you ask me.
