How can anyone support Katie Hopkins when she made jokes about an Ebola victim?

You may know this story

She made crude jokes about an Ebola victim, a Scottish nurse working in Africa who was transferred from Glasgow to London for treatment.

Her tweet was
"Sending us Ebola bombs in the form of sweaty Glaswegians just isn't cricket."

She is referring to a dedicated nurse who went all they way to Africa to save the lives of people as an "Ebola bomb" and a "sweaty Glaswegian". That's taking it too far. How can anyone support this creature?

maybe that nurse should have stayed in Scotland and helped people there

Jack The Cat 02-02-2015 11:33 AM

Katie is also a Devil Worshiping child killer. Unless you hate her, you must be evil as well.

It is the law you know.

She can help whoever she choose to help. It's her life. And you're missing the point entirely. The point being calling a dying woman an "ebola bomb" is completely uncalled for and twisted.

AnnieK 02-02-2015 11:36 AM

It was quite a selfless choice really.....she put her own life on the line to help others.....the problem is the screening on her return.

I'll ask what I asked you last time you said this ... how on earth is trying to help people "selfish"? :conf:

The world needs more people like her, frankly.

What is selfish, however, is begruding the people in West Africa help.

Don't you think that coming over here with the potencial to have Ebola was pretty stupid,it could have easily gone terribly wrong, wonder how people would feel if THAT had happened

You mean potential, not potencial.

Suze 02-02-2015 11:45 AM

I rather think Katie Hopkins support is waning big time now, or maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part :D I like to believe the former rather than the latter though :)

It was selfless Annie, and kudos to the nurse BUT had the scenario been different it could have led to people dying, she should not have been allowed to return until it was certain she was clear.

That's the fault of the people screening and obviously the way people are being screened though, don't you think?

Absolutely.

The nurse was interviewed on TV last week/week before, and she openly admits that her OWN FAMILY have said that they feel it was selfish to go and put herself in the way of contracting a killer virus and she is not going to be doing any more aid work as she has to think of her own family...

As for begrudging the people of West Africa help.. sit and tot up just how much help they have been given over the past 30 years...

So Hopkins is the antichrist, yet is still beating Perez in the ratings.

You couldn't make it up, talking about clutching at straws. By Perez's followers.
