Tin Openers
Can you successfully navigate a tin opener?
No, I'm left handed and it takes forever for me to open one :bored:
yes but tins with those pull rings are better
Yes
Yes, i can.
Anyone that votes yes has to prove it by posting a tutorial video of themselves opening a tin
No, so we have an electric one.

well i had a todo with my can of tuna at lunchtime. I had just stabbed my thumb opening a spring so I could use it to hang a wall plate I had found so it was bleeding - i was also mindful that Tuna brine stinks so was doing this over the sink, i half undid the lid and drained out the brine and then wound it round but then could not get the lid off the can and spend 30 seconds trying not to cut my finger off or lose tuna, i eventually got the lid of the can but it stuck in the opener and 30 seconds later i got it off. I noticed blood in the Tuna but as it was going into pasta sauce who cares.

Yes have been able to since being little
Yes, but I've noticed how inferior quality they increasingly are. They don't seem to last very long these days.
I'm left handed so they are difficult and i have an electric one these days and they are a doddle.
Cornbeef tins are the worst for opening - but they are simple too with an electric one, but ya have to do both ends. Not that i buy tins of corned beef these days ! |
