It's really well made - but I don't like the concept. It looks too.. old and rusty. If it was a newer looking eye maybe, but I don't like the handle bit either.

It's good, but it's a bit... much in terms of the concept. I'm not saying we can't accuse the real BB designers of being overly literal - and after all, putting random stuff together and seeing how it'll turn out is the point of this sub-forum - but the novelty of staring at a rusty old bolt all summer (...) would probably wear off soon enough. Still, well made.

Maybe this would be the civilian look, and a shiny version for the celebrity?

Nice idea, though I suspect in reality once it got into other hands the padlock element would be dropped and you'd just be left with the keyhole in the middle and the eye tweaked to reflect that.
