The comedy series is returning to Sony Entertainment Television with a double-bill on Wednesday, March 18 at 10.05pm - 24 hours after its US debut.

By contrast, the sixth season will be online-only in America, with Yahoo! Screen streaming the run after NBC axed the show.

Paget Brewster and Keith David will join Community as series regulars for season six, following the departure of Jonathan Banks and original cast member Yvette Nicole Brown.

Brewster is playing Francesca 'Frankie' Dart, a consultant aiming to improve Greendale Community College.

David will feature as a washed-up inventor named Elroy Patashnik.

Jim Rash, who portrays Dean Pelton on the comedy, will also become the first cast member to direct an episode.

I finished watching this on Netflix the other week, it's a fantastic show. It's a shame that it's airing on Sony TV though, I won't be able to watch it as I have Freeview!

Happy about this! I don't have Yahoo Screen and instead of downloading I can just watch on my tv, especially since it is airing 24 hours later.

That was weird, I'm just watching the first episode on netflix now.

Such a good show... but sadly it's time has past

Season 6 has begun!

Just found the first two episodes on watchseries.

Season 6 finally has "aired" now...

For the most part, I felt like it took away from the entire series... but it had its moments.
If nothing else, if you were ever a fan of the show, watch the last faux-mercial in S6E13 at the end of the episode... it was really the only lol segment, and I rewatched it three times it was so funny and on point.
