No one wants a Toff like Milliboy

“He’s no idea what it’s like for most people in Doncaster.”

how she had turned her back on hapless Ed.
The mum, who did not want to give her name,
said: “I’ve always voted Labour but I’m disgusted by Miliband.
He comes across as totally useless. I wish they had another leader.”]

Nedusa 04-03-2015 06:08 AM

Brilliant.... This poster is actually a bit flattering to Mr Miliband , his teeth aren't actually that straight lol

Kizzy 04-03-2015 07:59 AM

There is a remarkable resemblance between the two....don't you think :cheer2:

Northern Monkey 04-03-2015 08:45 AM

Haha.That's brilliant:laugh:

Toy Soldier 04-03-2015 08:47 AM

"He shunned our smelly pub and looks like claymation! Quick, let's all vote Tory, because it's FUN to violently and repeatedly **** yourself in the arsehole."

Working Men's Club logic.

joeysteele 04-03-2015 09:46 AM

Rarely does anything come as stupid as the Sun when it has it in for someone.

Whether he wanted to go to the club or not, so what, is this really all they can find to get at him. The Sun is run by idiots in my view and politicians cannot be everywhere.

I really totally despair as to the kind of campaign this is going to be turned into by some of the really idiotic and in my view, pathetically infantile press.

Talking of so called likely snobs however, we already have the worst possible kind of
one as PM at present.

I don't know what's wrong with this thread but it is anoying to read for the format it has,it's all over the screen..

Picture in the first post is huge and stretching the forum. Needs a spoiler tag around it.

Totally agree with the rest of your post Joey, The Sun is written for idiots and seems to only be getting worse. Unfortunately there are millions of idiots out there who are lapping up every word and will probably merrily shoot themselves in the foot (again) come voting day.

I agree, it is beyond belief to me that anyone believes a word it says anymore.
Let alone waste money buying it and seriously reading its nonsense.

Sad thing is Joey, on a more serious note it looks like the Sun has nailed its colours to the mast for the forthcoming election and they are not Red.

It looks as if Mr Murdoch has picked a winner and it isn't Labour.

So expect more of these kinds of juvenile stories as the clock ticks down to the next General Election.

I hadn't noticed.

LeatherTrumpet 04-03-2015 10:56 AM

people from Doncaster are allowed to vote?

whoooooaaa, when did this happen?

Livia 04-03-2015 11:28 AM

If the campaign was aimed at Cameron I'm sure a lot more of you would get the joke.

Kizzy 04-03-2015 11:33 AM

I doubt it... politics should be about policies, it's always been my view.

Livia 04-03-2015 11:36 AM

This poster is a joke not a campaign poster. If it's not been produced by a party then it is hardly going to be about policy.

Kizzy 04-03-2015 11:40 AM

The whole newspaper and it's moronic right wing mockery is a joke...

The Sun has never really ever been Labour Nedusa, it never really supported Harold Wilson, according to my Dad, it wasn't behind Callaghan in 1979, it was a staunch pro Thatcher paper all through her time in power and it supported John Major in 1992 as well.

It didn't support Labour last time and didn;t back a winner then.

Also between 1997 and 2005 when it pretended to support Labour, it didn't really, it admired and liked Tony Blair and that was who it supported, him as PM,not the Labour party as a whole as a govt:

I hope your point is not that since the Sun has not nailed its mast to the Labour party, that voters should then follow its lead and vote for this disaster we have now as a govt:
I would never allow myself to be swayed by any paper,I make my own mind up on the policies I like and hope to see implemented, not who will be doing them as on a personal basis.

But Local Voters up there
hate the Toff Ed

Yeah, I get that. My point is that is not part of an official party election campaign, produced by another party. If it was, I'd agree about negative campaigning, something I always hated when I was an election agent. But it's been knocked together by some disgruntled punters and it's actually very funny.

Kazanne 04-03-2015 02:11 PM

Well it happens everywhere,I like what David Cameron is trying to do,but found this video hilarious although it's taking the pee out of him,I wouldn't be swayed by negativity towards anyone,I just make my own mind up but can still find the wind ups funny.

Livia 04-03-2015 02:13 PM

LMAO.... I love that Kaz. I have a few people I'm sending that to right now.

I can find the wind ups funny too, however I do think when it is virtually non stop it gets tedious and professional press who have any morals or decency should refrain from same so much and inform rather than try to influence.

In all truth, from my interest as to politics, as to the 3 main parties anyway,I can safely say,for me, I have never really liked any of the leaders of them at all, except for Charles Kennedy of the Lib dems and until he kicked me in the teeth for my trust and vote,Nick Clegg.

That is a really funny video by the way Kazanne, you and I don't agree on politics but you do often bring a fresh and lighter approach to proceedings.

I judge on policies, not personalities, I don't care how a leader,or in fact any member of cabinet or shadow cabinet, sounds, looks or what they eat or how they eat it,as long as they do what they say they will, keep their promises in the main and govern with justice, fairness and compassion.

JoshBB 04-03-2015 09:04 PM

kazanne that was funny as hell.

i'm literally ignoring politics until the general election as it's all mud slinging now
