Does Internet ruin BB for you?

Does forums/sites ruin big brother or make it better for you?

Like not knowing how popular each housemate is or who is favourite to win etc.

I don't know if it's just me but I found series 5-7 brilliant because I had no clue who was loved, liked or disliked only from the crowd reception.

I guess things would be a bit more exciting and fresh if I didn't know what was going to happen a day before the highlight show, but I can't help myself

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 12-03-2015 12:34 AM

i'm gonna put the BB16 forum on ignore before it starts :flutter:

I remember being really shocked at Nikki being evicted

I hate double standards.
Sometimes that puts me off certain housemates.

It happened a lot during CBB15 and BB15.

For example, Ashleigh's behaviour being overlooked whilst Helen was vilified.
You either like both or hate both, tbh. As they were both nasty.
I like both of them though.

I think it adds to it tbh, I joined the forum for BB10 because at the point none of my friends watched anymore so I had no one to discuss things with

The internet doesn't ruin it, the people on the internet do.

This.

Not all people though. Just some.
I really enjoy hearing other people's opinions. I love the debates on here too.
Especially the ones about BB15, because it was so shet.

The way I see it that if you think people are ruining bb for you it's because you're letting them if you know what I mean.
hope you didn't take that in the wrong

i mean you can do something about it :p

They don't ruin BB for me, as such.
But, they make me enjoy the forum less.

I agree. When I first joined it was BB7 starting and it made it more exciting. Back then were was so much more hype, far more fan sites and it was great! Plus there was also the chance that a member of the public could be a housemate through a golden ticket and discussing that was fun.

I miss the hype it used to get and all the fan sites. There are only a few still running to this day

So I'd say no, I prefer it. Plus even if you don't go on the internet, you can kind of gage who is popular and not with crowd reactions anyway.
