Teeth whitening

Has anyone ever done this. I seen this thing a few "celebs" have been using and thought I'd try it out.

It's called coco white and its a coconut pulling oil. I'll let you know how it works out

Louise from BB12 is using it

I use these strips which have loads of spelling mistakes in the instruction booklet. But, they actually work really well. You just wear them for 30 minutes a day, my teeth look really white now.

omfg i have been trying to get cocowhite for about 4 weeks, they have "limited stock" at 1pm every day and anytime i try to get it, it's sold out straight away :fist:

i managed to place an order a couple of weeks ago and after 10 days of it not arriving, they emailed me saying my order had been cancelled because of stock issues :moorangu:

LukeB 12-03-2015 09:38 PM

never saw it before, how much is it?

Smithy 12-03-2015 09:39 PM

£19.99 iirc for a 14 day run of it

Ok good luck! :fc: have you signed up for the email notification?

Smithy 12-03-2015 09:46 PM

no, I'm usually online so i'll just be on for 8pm, does the email notification give any special thing? like email you at half 7 with a code or something?

Also how much was P&P for you bc for me it was like £12

Jessica. 12-03-2015 09:48 PM

I have never whitened my teeth, just old fashioned toothpaste does the trick for me, I would like to try it some time though, just to see what it's like.

I dunno I haven't signed up for the email, cause I just luckily went on today at 5 to 8 and waited.

It said postage was £3.99

So inn total it was £23.98

DemolitionRed 13-03-2015 08:28 AM

Does it make your teeth really clean or does it lighten them more than the natural tooth?

Crimson Dynamo 13-03-2015 08:34 AM

I am going to stick with typpex

DemolitionRed 13-03-2015 09:24 AM

Just read this http://authoritynutrition.com/oil-pulling-coconut-oil/ and it sounds like you can use any oil. They suggest sesame seed oil or plain old coconut oil. I'm going to give it a try.

Ohh that's interesting, I might give that a go too

Jamesy 13-03-2015 01:44 PM

I may go see if I can find some coconut oil in Tesco next time and try that. Sounds interesting, but I would rather try it with just oil from a store first, rather than paying £20 for cocowhite. According to Tesco's site you can buy it from £5 so that sounds far more appealing for a first try.

Kizzy 13-03-2015 01:55 PM

bicarb and lemon juice is good but you'd have to be careful as it could damage your enamel if you did it too often or for too long.
The normal pulling with coconut oil sounds safest.

Josy 13-03-2015 01:57 PM

You can whiten your teeth just by doing 'oil pulling' with normal organic coconut oil

Where is Zee to back me up on this, he's tried it..

Also seen some AP 24 toothpaste getting raved about lately but when I checked online there was mixed reviews.

Smithy 13-03-2015 07:09 PM

Vicky. 13-03-2015 08:35 PM

Ooh post results please. Before and afters..in mod thread if not wanting to on here :p

If this works, I think I will try it. My teeth are completely white bar the front ones that could do with some work, but its either smoking or endless cups of tea thats knacked them so not sure if its reversible or not. I actually blame the tea tbh, as I have smoked since 15 and never ever had a problem with my teeth, then when skye was born I got addicted to tea (have about 7 cups a day) and thats when it started. Its not massively noticeable but it always stands out to me

Marsh. 13-03-2015 08:37 PM

I'd be scared of this type of stuff making my teeth fall out. :worry:

Marsh. 13-03-2015 08:37 PM

No wonder Louise is brain dead, all of the chemicals she uses.
