And pasta and mince with tomato sauce is exciting :idc:

There are so many combinations, accompaniments and sauces...how can you be bored? :conf:

no like I find the tradition boring of having roast dinners on Sunday, which makes roast dinners boring for me, having something else is far better on a Sunday.

MTVN 22-03-2015 04:11 PM

They are amazing, this time next week I will be enjoying one of the old dear's Sunday roasts for the first time in ages :flutter:

Liam- 22-03-2015 04:11 PM

Roast dinners are the best concoctions to ever be seen in this world, respect it :nono:

GiRTh 22-03-2015 04:12 PM

Who would rather have a dodgy lasagne than a good roast?

Josy 22-03-2015 04:12 PM

They are alright I guess, we don't have them every single week though.

Today we are having home made chicken pakora and salad.

yeah thats what I mean, the actual roast dinner isn't that bad, its just having one every week to follow a tradition.

Will. 22-03-2015 04:17 PM

Oh god my mums making me have one, help me through this time of difficulty and need.

Why not offer to cook next Sunday? Roast dinners are one of the easiest dinners to make so maybe that is why your Mum makes it on a Sunday. I rarely cook on a Sunday so count yourself lucky not to be making do with soup :hehe:

smudgie 22-03-2015 04:47 PM

As chief cook, it depends what mood I am in.
Luckily for family I felt like spoiling them today.
Roast beef with all the trimmings..made enough to plate dinners up for them tomorrow as well, son is cock-a-hoop as he can take his home with him.

I said offer to cook one meal! Maybe if you realised the effort that went into cooking a meal you might be more grateful!
