What sort of design would you like for the house?

I would like a massive open space and a second floor, something like Big Brother Canada.

Maxxie. 05-04-2015 06:59 PM

I think it would be too cramped to have an OPEN second floor, they might have to just extend the house into some camera runs/production rooms & move them somewhere else. Everyone else would probz hate this idea but I'd like another kitchen NOT in the living area like a seperate room in bb10. I think its better having more rooms, more bitchy and all.

JoshBB 05-04-2015 07:02 PM

A second floor would be nice actually.

zakman440 05-04-2015 07:06 PM

I would love a second floor, but with the current way that the house is built (the roof is dipped), it's just not possible. As for theme, I'd love another back to basics house (a la Secrets and Lies).

Shaun 05-04-2015 07:13 PM

everything white (except all of the housemates obvs x). total "asylum" vibe to the whole thing.

Jamesy 05-04-2015 07:24 PM

A small second floor would be great to see (doesn't have to be huge, just something that has one or two rooms).

I would like to see no task room and a far bigger house. The task room is hardly used and the task team can easily make more use of a big house.

The diary room needs to be back on the bottom floor and also in a different area. The stairs need to be closed off again like the C4 days, which can allow for fake evictions and new housemates to arrive in secret.

totally agree! I'm sure there are ways they could do a second floor, like make the roof over the old garden bigger perhaps allowing for two floors?

I'd love the staircase to be in a separate room, like that of BB6-BB10.
More like BB6-BB8, though as I wasn't keen on the Diary room being under the stairs in BB9 and BB10.
There was just something so atmospheric about the evictee standing at the top of the stairs, waiting for the doors to slide open, and hearing the housemates muffled goodbyes, as the doors shut.
Though for that to work, they need to scrap the countdown, and actually show the evictee right before the door opens.
This also makes secret evictions, and housemates entrances good too.
Like Aisleyne's iconic HND moment, when the crowd reaction happened, and part of the wall opened, which led to the secret house.
And Big Brother saying, "Housemates MUST to shut the front doors, immediately".

I'd also love for an outdoor lounge, in a separate room again. Like BB6 and BB10 had.
I used to love evictions back in 2005, when the evictee would say their goodbyes in the lounge, and make their way through the main house alone, whilst the iconic and suspenseful eviction background music would play. :flutter:

It was also great for nominations and announcements.

The Diary room must be downstairs again.

Like BB9's solitary confinement room.
Or a white version of the BB7 Diary room walls.

I would like more glass too, so privacy is out of the question.

Do they still design the house to make it uncomfortable to live in, like they did during most of the C4 days?

i back that.:hehe:

Not backing glass. I think privacy should be an option when it's away from other housemates (like a private bitch or a lee/jasmine style snog) just not away from the cameras and the viewers ofc.

Creepy dolls house!!! Including a gigantic rocking horse....

I meant no privacy as in you can see all the rooms as there is glass windows and doors, separating the rooms, like the BB7 house, for example.

But of course, they'll get some privacy like a mini pod in the garden, where they can go away from the house, and that sort of thing, and the bathroom.

The Living room should be outside again

Marsh. 07-04-2015 10:16 PM

Yeah, they've already shown with the diary room, it's possible to have some kind of second floor. Even if it is just a balcony/1 room.

Marsh. 07-04-2015 10:17 PM

But I'd like large and open plan like BB3/4/14

Jason. 07-04-2015 11:11 PM

I want a less tacky house.
BB15's house was an improvement. It really did look like a Channel 4 house, with the walls, and furniture.
Shame the same can't be said for the series.

BB14's house was very tacky looking back. Although, I did like it, to some extent.

BB12 and BB13's had a very glamorous and cheap feel to it.

A BB8-esque house would be quite nice considering it was simple but had some interesting elements to it, as did BB10's. However I really would like a sort of BB5-7 extreme house, probably the best houses of all time.

BB5-BB8 had the best houses.
I don't mind BB9's house.

BB10's house was awful. I only liked the BB10 garden.
BB11's kitchen and garden was nice, but the main house didn't look good on screen at all.

I agree with the people that went for an 'asylum' type theme, that would be great.

Somehow I think we may get a hipster theme this time

A hoarders theme, loads of junk everywhere with bajillions of old newspapers and magazines.
