Fair play to LT' s shop
for working so hard at undercutting Waitrose
deals

I'm surprised Waitrose were ever that high, I don't know anyone that shops there.

Crimson Dynamo 08-04-2015 05:37 PM

I was in today and filled a basket full for 40 quid and thats with 3 bottles of plonk. In sodding tescos I get half as much for that money

Good products, less choice (which is great) in and out in 10 minutes, fast check outs, value, value value

brilliant

Shaun much of there food
goes through the Massive delivery service
of award winning Ocado.

Waitrose were trying to do a basic range
so Aldi undercut all of there deals
but in every range Top End or Basic

The Germam Aldi trackers
do a top job.

Always good for bratwurst and frikadellen. Fair play to them.

Lidl are better than Tesco

And AsdaWalmart
is the Top at undercutting the lot

But I do also go to Aldi, Lidl & Morrisons

Of course that national dish

user104658 08-04-2015 05:54 PM

Fast checkouts? Seriously, where is this Aldi? Every one I've ever been in has like one marginally retarded 17 year old girl on one checkout and queue of people half way down the toilet roll aisle.

And TS your long queue
is because of all the former Waitrose shoppers
saving big cash

LT is in Scotland

Some Aldi have a special extra 5 section fast tills
that can spring into action fast

Crimson Dynamo 08-04-2015 06:00 PM

Today I walked up to an empty till, I never wait, they are the fastest and i like most put all my goods back into my trolley and pay and then pack

3 good bottles of 12.5 percent white wine at 3.29 a pop

cannot get that at other supermarkets

Crimson Dynamo 08-04-2015 06:02 PM

but i have noticed that now the till operators try to ask you about your day "what have you planned for the rest of the day"? the young man asked

:nono: I dont want to talk, i want to pay and get out.

Cherie 08-04-2015 07:43 PM

Foreign supermarkets coming in and..... :fist: Where is Farage when you need him,

Oh wasting his time in LTs avatar :fist:

Vanessa 08-04-2015 07:44 PM

I haven't got one nearby. :fist:

Kizzy 08-04-2015 07:48 PM

Aldi is rubbish..packing your bags out of the trolley is sooooooo stressful.

If you are organised like me with bags for life you can drop the cheap goods straight in :smug:

I don't shop in Aldi or Lidl because they do not stock everything I want / need. I'll shop there on occasion if I want some random East European thing that Sainsbury / Morrison's / Waitrose don't have.

Shopping at Morrison's right now as the quality of meat and fish is incredible, and they match Aldi and Lidl prices.

Vanessa 08-04-2015 07:51 PM

I prefer Asda. They always have everything i need.

I don't find it much dearer than the co-op tbh Cherie and you get good quality food so less waste and a good veggie range. We only have a choice of two,but they are in the middle of building an Aldi.:hehe:
