Actually I'm pretty sure Nick was up for taking part in both of the proposed seven way leaders debates but is only not doing this one since the BBC don't want to be seen as empty chairing Cameron. The broadcasters pathetically pandered to his demands, hence why these debates aren't nearly as exciting as they should be

He is the real coward

Its the losers show, no good can come from debating the same old crap over and over with people who are not going to win the election. The more Ed associates with that group, the less he looks like a future leader.

As for Nick, no way he is missing the debate to make Cameron look better, that's just silly. He will have been told that it wont benefit the lib dems election prospects - simple as that

arista 16-04-2015 07:00 PM

On BBC1 , BBC1HD , SkyNewsHD and Radio 5

now Live.

Pete. 16-04-2015 07:00 PM

Here for messy Natalie Bennett

arista 16-04-2015 07:03 PM

Welsh Lady first

MTVN 16-04-2015 07:07 PM

Miliband quite stiff and contrived again

Jay. 16-04-2015 07:08 PM

Watching this now, I love the debates.

MTVN 16-04-2015 07:14 PM

All our money going over Hadrian's wall :fist:

Kazanne 16-04-2015 07:14 PM

I don't think Cameron is a coward, quite the opposite, the others in the debate can and will slag him off to their hearts content with no repercussions, and what's the point of hashing over old stuff all the time it doesn't make you more likable,Mr Cameron has said his piece,he doesn't need to keep droning on,so for me he is no coward,he is as I expected his own man.Milliband in particular comes over to me as very insincere.

MTVN 16-04-2015 07:17 PM

Stop the audience clapping Dimbleby

arista 16-04-2015 07:18 PM

Ganging up on Ed

Miliband being ganged up on by the three witches while Farage snipes from the right wing, what has poor Ed got himself in for here

Marsh. 16-04-2015 07:22 PM

....in the valleys....

Brother Leon 16-04-2015 07:23 PM

Miliband is killing it. Doing well.

arista 16-04-2015 07:25 PM

MTVN 16-04-2015 07:25 PM

The Miliband-Sturgeon exchanges are the key here, the other three are irrelevant
