Christina Aguilera - The Real Thing (for Nashville TV series)
 

The singer has recorded country song 'The Real Thing' for the hit American TV series Nashville, in which she will make a cameo.

Aguilera and the track will make their debut in tomorrow night's episode 'Nobody Knows But Me' (April 15) in the US on ABC.

The star will then release a second new track called 'Shotgun', which will premiere on next week's episode 'The Storm Has Just Begun'.

Aguilera is currently working on the follow-up to her 2012 album Lotus, and recently revealed that she has been in the studio with Pharrell Williams.

"During my pregnancy, I had a meeting with him and just connected on where I want to take the next album, and we started talking music, and he has one song in particular that I love," she said.
