..you won't though because no decision you make/path you follow is the wrong one because you will learn something and take something from it...so don't regret things you do if it doesn't turn out how you hoped because it will have never have been the wrong thing to do, just take what you can from it and keep moving without regrets...

1) My dad to find someone who doesn't hate his kids and actually has a job themselves... oh and if they could be nice to his kids, that would be great.

2) My mum to stop drinking, smoking and sort her life out. Very stressful atm

3) I guess I just wish all my family that live here would happily come to live in America with me this summer. It's such a **** choice I have to make and I hate knowing that I'll be leaving behind a sister and my mum + grandad.

..I think probably her 'hating' of you is because of her own insecurities in herself and who she is and because of the love that your dad has for you, she may have some control over his actions but much less control over his feelings for his children...so I think it's that knowing you have his love and that you have confidence that she doesn't have and don't feel the need or insecurity to be mean ...and your sister and mum will be fine Caitlin, they will make their own choices and decisions in their lives and they'll be right for them....
