Big Brother Time Bomb House: Connections to Old houses!
 

Does anybody see in the garden that the stairs are covered in clouds?! Is that a connection to UBB?!?!

Then the wooden ice feel inside from CBB11?!?!

And also the diary room in the living room from many previous houses(Channel 4)

What does this all mean?!?!

Also i just realised the stairs are Big Brother Power Trip styled! :D but gold trim in the middle!

They seem to be like a BB5/BB6 hybrid. :)

Oooh and is the aquarium a real version of the decal by the stairs from Big Brother 2011?

Wow, seeing the BB5 and BB16 living areas side by side is cool. Colour aside, they're pretty much identical. :laugh: :love:

Thanks for the link, I noticed the same similarities too including the rectangular dining table with overhead hanging lights.

For some reason the squiggly orange sunlounger things in the garden, and the gross grey/blue carpet style have both got a familiar vibe to them, although I haven't yet found them in old houses.

The 3 armchairs around the smaller circular table - was there something like this in Charlotte Crosbys series and also in the series with Gary Busey too?
(although maybe it was a grouping of 2 not 3 armchairs)

I posted this in the other thread this morning, I think all the areas of the house are representing past houses.

Yeah but we were pointing out which parts of the house look like other houses.. ._.

So are they similarities or are the just running out of ideas at Channel 5 and using best bits to combine into the house.

Also corrections to a few things Ive seen on the thread.

The Aquarium will not be real. It'll be like BB12 walls - just a wallpaper. A Big Brother house wouldn't ever have a live aquarium feature, it won't work in a studio!!

And the stairs are surely exactly the same as the last Civilian Series and bother Celebrity Series since. They havent decided to put in an identical staircase with a wooden veneer.

I don't think people should read too much into the Timebomb theme. The house is great, but not a literary masterpiece with hidden meaning and thought given to every item. I also wonder how well the house will bare with camera angles. There seem to be fewer mirrors in the living area and they seem to have added some funky shaped mirrors throughout also! I also hope that there will be some touches to improve this house before the Launch next week!

I suppose you could compare it to the BB13 bathroom/garden, didn't they have a rock theme?
