I wish we had entries that rivalled this again, we have had such piss poor choices since then (apart from Gina G and Jade). :(

Molly was a decent entry, but obviously overtaken by Conchita with the beard gimmick. I think we could have won with Children of the Universe and maybe Blue. It's a shame we have no chance with this years entry IMO.

Gina G totally should have won, I didn't see the show live obviously but I've watched most from that year and she was amazing and her song was so catchy!

I like the fact we went with swing this year but it could have been so much better and the fact they guy sounds so camp and not manly at all is ridiculous.

yeah I'm guessing Gina didn't win because everyone wasn't too enthusiastic about giving it to the same country twice in a row, annoying though bc who even remembers the winner

Yeah I was correct. Gina G was the year before Katrina in 1996, Katrina was 1997 and Imaani was 1998 and lost to Dana International by 6 points.
