This morning Nigel Farage quit as UKip leader after he was defeated in his bid to become an MP.

Following the news speculation has already begun about what the controversial politician could do next.

As well as silly suggestions such as he will host Top Gear, it's thought he could take part in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

William Hill told Mirror Online that the odds are currently 14/1 for him to do the show.

Nick Clegg, who also resigned, is at 50/1, as is Ed Miliband.

Farage is also at 50/1 for I’m Celeb.

Over the years the show has seen celebrities from all walks of life take part and the timing, unlike I’m A Celebrity, would be ideal as the new series is set to start in the few months.

Politician wise, George Galloway famously appeared on the show in 2006, while he was the MP for MP for Bethnal Green and Bow.

His most memorable moment was when he pretended to be Rula Lenska's pet cat.
