Should Marcus Bentley continue to tell the housemates to leave?

For me it's an absolute no. Last night was the worst he's been during an eviction. It was so cringeworthy I had to mute the TV when he was speaking. They seriously need to tell him to calm down or just let Big Brother tell the housemates to leave.

No, I've hated that ever since BB moved to C5. It's a horrible change.

Pete. 13-05-2015 04:34 PM

No I lived when Big Brother told him to leave

MB. 13-05-2015 04:34 PM

They had BB and Marcus doing the eviction announcement at the same time last night. :umm2:

Gusto Brunt 13-05-2015 04:34 PM

Why not?

Because it sounds ridiculous and drains so much atmosphere from the evictions.

Messs

ruiphillips 13-05-2015 04:37 PM

No. It's annoying.

Just let Emma do the announcement and no-one tells them to leave.
Then we would have a Kitten situation

Glenn. 13-05-2015 04:37 PM

Big Brother should tell them to leave. It's his house.

Jamesy 13-05-2015 04:39 PM

No.

Marcus should stop doing this segment. Get back to Big Brother doing it, it's more atmospheric and more fitting given it's Big Brother's house and it's 'the' Big Brother telling you to leave.

Babayaro. 13-05-2015 04:39 PM

I hate it. It makes me want to die.

Glenn. 13-05-2015 04:40 PM

It wouldn't be so bad if he did it at a normal decibel.

That was a brilliant moment tbf. Here for it happening again. :joker:

I honestly could not care less, it does not ruin my enjoyment in the show at all.

It really annoys me when people drag the show over such tiny things, yes we're fans, but if it's stopping you enjoying the show that much, then maybe don't watch it? The constant moaning omg

LukeB 13-05-2015 04:43 PM

I prefer the BB doing it, like they had a female saying it didn't they ages ago?

Marsh. 13-05-2015 04:44 PM

I did prefer robot BB.

But that's the thing, if it doesn't bother you then of course it's a tiny aspect for you. His announcements have honestly made evictions less exciting for me since the show's been on C5, he's become a parody of himself.

I'm certainly not gonna stop watching over it, but I'm not gonna stop voicing that it annoys me either. :joker:

True, I just see it as something that doesn't take away from the entertainment of the housemates, if anything the show IS the housemates, so I find the arguments about stuff like 'Ergh another music montage while the housemates wake up' kind of annoying after a while :worry:

I know that people are entitled to their opinion, but some people just do not stop moaning :bored:

I'm not aiming this at anyone in particular btw.

Return the voice to BB, Marcus' wailing has gone on long enough

Jake. 13-05-2015 05:11 PM

it's more the way he executes it, he sounds like a builder trying to shout instructions over to another colleague on a loud construction site

Point that gun :joker:

I'm interested in who gets evicted not who does it, so I don't have a problem with Marcus

warrenhill 13-05-2015 05:23 PM

I think they should send in two doormen and just carry the evictee out kicking and screaming..)

andybigbro 13-05-2015 05:29 PM

If he calmed it down a bit I woul not see a problem

bbfan23 13-05-2015 05:49 PM

I hate his voice tbh... it just sounds ridiculous. I guess they'll never replace him despite how many people dislike his over-exaggerated voice because he's considered a BB "tradition". I've also heard he blocks you on Twitter if you send him anything negative, big girls' blouse. :joker:
