Anyone else think the characters still aren't that diverse?

I still don't think we've got a good mix of characters...or if they are, they haven't shown themselves yet.

I think Simon staying would have benefited the series a lot...he was older for a start so has different view points and has grown up in a different world to a lot of these...Eileen is the oldest and atm she's quite quiet.

Obviously it's early days still but does anyone think this?

Think it's still diverse, if they get a couple of older HM in then it will be really diverse. We need a 60+ housemate.

And we need a really down to earth/common male who hates people like Cristian.

Yeah...and to me, Jack, Nick and Joel have all blended into one. We definitely need new older housemates to go in, Derek 2.0 would be amazing.

It's diverse enough, we've seen that during the launch.. we've just not seen enough of them in the house yet, we're only 2 days in..

So you haven't made any judgements on the housemates? I said it's early days so I don't see what it being the second day has to do with it. From the first two highlights, do these housemates seem diverse to you?

Not really. I hate to admit it, because I've looked forward to the show for ages, but I'm bored already.

It feels more diverse than BB12,13 or 15.

The real problem is the editors focusing so much on the "who fancies who" storylines so early on.

Raph 14-05-2015 10:12 PM

More diverse than BB15, yes, but still very disappointing for me. Not enough diversity in age first of all but also in ethnicity, culture and most importantly social circles - SO many are still involved in the media, and that's a huge detriment to the show.

We just need to watch some more i think. It's only been two shows.

Mystic Mock 15-05-2015 09:07 AM

The problem is we're only really getting to see Cristian, Danny, and Sarah at the minute with Aaron, and Jade on the side, there's still so many people that need attention that haven't yet had any of it.

Withano 15-05-2015 11:14 AM

C5 has never given us a particularly diverse civilian series, it's weird that they're so good at celebrity series' but have ****ed up in every way possible for the civilian show.

Glenn. 15-05-2015 11:58 AM

We've seen two highlights shows...
