Why do Channel 5 refuse to evict housemates to an empty crowd
 

Channel 4 used to do it and I felt it really added to a fake eviction. Now when they do it, the evicted housemate always goes through the diary room which is messy.

That's never happened.

Or at least a room to the side, like Aisleyne from BB7. Whenever they go through the diary room it becomes obvious that something is different.

But evictions are no fun without the lynch mob. :laugh:

But during surprise eviction (Lee/Marlon/Cami) are with no crowd anyway but they don't let them exit through the main doors

I think fake evictions are better with a crowd. Remember Charlie's? That was great!

I'd honestly like them to scrap the outdoor crowd and just have the indoor audience for evictions tbh, it gets unbearable when people just scream and shout over the interviews.

I'm dreading the crowd on Friday considering some of the vile things said by BOTS audience calling Adjoa 'Ebola'. If the crowd chant 'Get Ebola Out' I will actually switch off.

I'd LOVE it if they had a silent crowd like in BB9, but knowing the current rent-a-mob they'd never be able to keep their mouths shut.

The audience is the worst part of the eviction. Indoor audiences work for most other TV shows so why is BB any different?

The audience can be annoying at times, but the outdoor evictions are a part of the reason I love BBUK so much. I always find it so stale on the US and AUS versions when they just come out of the house into another room.
