How is Jack so fat if all he eats is carrots

I'm thinking the Carrots are some desperate grab to create a character

Awful housemate

He works in a fast food.

Some people are naturally big

He has a gene that makes him eat too much

Maybe he's eating the carrots to lose weight?

A number of possible reasons:

He eats too much.
Doesn't exercise much.
Naturally big.
Big boned.
Illness.
Depression.

Or Katie Hopkins reasoning. He's lazy.

You use up more calories eating a carrot than they contain ... simple
