Wow you people dont know much. Shilpa's a megastar in Asia. I dont know what Jermaine Jacksons profile is like these days but i doubt it could rival hers.

That could be why the post was asking for Your opinion on who You think is the most famous, unless you know who she is, shes not famous to you, same depending on age, younger people may not have heard of some of the celebs so making a sweeping statement that because someone doesnt agree with your choice in who is the most famous,means they know nothing is hardly a good argument, especially when by your own admission your not sure of the rest lol.

OK, Ill change my statement. When someone is so completely and utterly in the lead as the most famous, it is no debate. Fair enough, the rest of the list is debatable.

you forgot to add in your opinion, add that and we can agree to disagree lol because its all debatable otherwise these boards would be pretty empty lol

But if we are arguing about cold hard facts, this is basically a measure of how ignorant people are. Sure, our opinions matter about the others, to measure fame, but we know for a fact Shilpas in the lead. Why say otherwise? I hadnt heard of her, but im not ignorant enough to imply most of India hasnt.

It depends if we are talking about worldwide fame or UK fame.

If it is worldwide fame I guess Shilpa could be at the top, if it is UK fame she would be further down.

Just because you dont know something, it doesnt mean that you are ignorant (another sweeping statement),lots of factors come into it. For example this isnt a who is the most famous thread otherwise there would be one list and no room to debate therefore the thread would be pointless,the thread is asking for your opinion, so ask india i have no doubts she would be on top of the list ask america and it would be dirk or jermaine based on who was voting,

So to say that just because someone doesnt agree with your opinion they are ignorant and know nothing is a very sweeping statement . the thread has asked for an opinion on something not for a factual statement with no room for discussion.

Im pretty sure that every single person on this site knows why Shilpa is famous, because the show tells us why.Davina tells us why. We all know why.

So why would people ignore this nugget of information as if it didnt exist.

It isnt being ignored, it is being prioritised, into who the individual poster thinks is more important, which is what this thread has asked for. Im not going to think someone is more famous just because i have been told to think it,

Well you should learn to differentiate between reliable sources and unreliable sources. When you know you are dealing with a reliable source you can rest assured you are being offered knowledge, and not simply being told to 'think something'.

rofl your having a laugh now, if i have to turn to big brother and davina for reliable sources of information and knowledge, im giving up now. In fact edit in if i have to depend on any form of media, im giving up now.
