Do we prefer c4 bb or c5 bb
 

Its nearly 5 years since big brother left c4 do we prefer how it was on c4 or do we prefore the c5 vision of the show channel 4 all the way for me

C4 obviously but BB13 > most of C4's editions

Channel 4 knew how to produce BB, Channel 5 is messy tbh

I've moved on from Channel 4, I don't see how hanging on to the past that is never coming back is going to let me enjoy the show. :laugh:

BB2, BB3, BB5, BB6, BB7 and BB9 were all good series (with some problems invariably caused by the producers). But the basic format for all series on Channel 4 of putting 12 - 14 people in a house and watching how they relate to each other with a 24/7 feed we could dip in and out of was there (with the exception of BB10).

Channel 5's first series BB12 was dire. BB13 some people have a higher opinion of than it deserves because their favourites Deana/Adam/Luke A all did well. BB14 is probably the best series on Channel 5 but I still think it was mediocre and last years show was a total disaster.

Some people are defending BB15 because the housemates are quite a nice lot by comparison to the last couple of years. Some people are saying it reminds them of the old days, which is bizarre given than BB6 had the most obnoxious group of housemates in the history of the show. The fact is that in the first week of this series we have had an eviction without a public vote, outside information fed into the house, meddling with nominations, pointless twists such as giving away £27,000 cars, desperate attempts to contrive conflict and drama, and mind-numbingly stupid tasks which seem to be more about humiliating people than revealing anything about them. The good will that people wish to give to the housemates themselves should not blind them from how bad this series has been. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they manage to get a favourite evicted without a public vote this year like they almost did with Ashleigh last year (when Danielle went).

This show could be so much better if a little effort and thought and care went into making it, but year after year it just continues to disappoint.

I think every series on Channel 4, except BB4 and BB11 have their merits.
BB13 and BB14 on Channel 5, beat BB10 and BB11, IMO.

I think the shows doing well on C5. It's doing much better than it did back in 2009 on C4. The most depressing year for BB, ever.

Channel 4 ,at least their normal BB was just that

I'm not crazy about Channel 5 BB but I much prefer it to the final couple of years on Channel 4.

Celebrity Big Brother 4 with Galloway and Barrymore remains the best Celebrity series. The one with Jackie Stallone was only on for a short time, but that was very funny.

Only the Davidson celebrity series has been anywhere near as good.

I'm surprised c5 don't cut civilian bb its clear most are only interested in cbb now although I still watch both

C4, C5 production is a mess with too much interference.

CBB15 was the best cbb ever imo, so I would go Channel 5 for CBB. But for Civilian BB, it's definitely C4. Channel 5 interfere too much

Nothing beats CBB4 for me.

Not only was it a great series. But it had all the C4 things that C5 lack. Such as less twists, and interference, live feed, etc.

CBB13 and CBB15, come second and third respectively. They're both amazing series. But not perfect, because they were both filled with constant interference and twists. I think this applies more to CBB15, than CBB13.

Channel 4 for sure.

It's unfair because C4 had it in it's prime years and we aren't going to see BB5,BB6 levels of greatness again, but I also tend to enjoy the C5 ones more than some of the other crap C4 served up too.

C5 CBB is full of losers that one would cross the street to avoid. I don't think they can get celebrities anymore because they've run the franchise into the ground.

I would say Channel 4 but I'm loving this series I think this has been the best one since Channel 5 took over.
