The way she has been treated is awful

I'm catching up on last nights show, and I can't help but find the fact that a bunch of supposed 'adults' (mainly the girls) have left a woman (25+ years their senior) in tears (on numourous occasions as well) rather pathetic.

Of course there is a difference in age and perhaps they don't share similar interests, but the way Jade and co. have singled her out and put it down to some 'spirituality' bollocks is plain horrid. It'd be like a 40 year old having to share a house with a bunch of late teens.

They hardly speak to her yet them all seem to have her clued up as some nasty troublemaker.

Beso 27-05-2015 05:43 PM

She's a good actress I'll give her that.

Jay. 27-05-2015 05:45 PM

I thought the same tbh, it's quite horrible watching her be distanced from the group. The stuff between her and Kieran was actually disgusting :umm2:

I'm really feeling for her tbh. especially when her soul is younger than all of them :worry:

Jake. 27-05-2015 05:46 PM

Chloe and Harriet hiding and listening to the whole conversation :umm2:

These are supposed to be adults lmao

smiley55 27-05-2015 05:48 PM

dont see her being treated bad tbh. nobody made her cry!

I love Eileen, but I didn't really get the Kieran issue tbh. I might have misunderstood, but I didn't remember him saying anything bad really.

Just imagine if Eileen sat outside the storeroom listening to that little gossip session. No doubt it would just add fuel to the "Eileen is not to be trusted" fire.

You don't think she might have instigated some of it, for instance walking out of the DR and telling the group her first nomination was easy? So it's perfectly fine for a middle aged woman to act like a bitch because? She practically told Cristian to **** off when he tried to tell her Kieran didn't mean to call her old as she was busy trying to get air time, She is the one pushing the "age"agenda :umm2:

They were playing hide and seek and got caught in an awkward situation

MrWong 27-05-2015 05:55 PM

I don't think she's being treated badly.

Some of the girls just don't get on with her.

Her and Jade are as bad as each other but at least Jade doesn't need to bull**** to gain sympathy.

Which they could have quickly taken themselves out of

It's that sort of situation though where you make a split second decision, they weren't to know how the conversation would turn:shrug:

I disagree, she was moaning about feeling "picked" on and hating bitching the other night, despite spending the past week bitching about Eileen and saying she had a "twang of evil" about her.

But they chose to stay there even when it was clear where the talk was heading, but I have no doubt Harriet would kick off if anyone listened in on a supposedly-private conversation she was having.

Totally agree with this.

She was out of order making that sly, spiteful comment to Jade about her noms in the DR, and she was totally unfair to Kieron with her misinterpretation of his comment about people needing less sleep as they age. I forgot how rude she was to Cristian as well.

She's got a nasty streak but dresses it up in an annoying cloud of fake innocence.

They new from the off exactly where the conversation would be heading, Harriet wanted more ammo to fire against Eileen

She knew when she signed up for BB that the house would be for the most part be full of youngsters who would likely be drunk, loud, brash and everything the housemates have been down through the years. Her age doesn't make her different to anyone else with regard to housemate status. Eileen has vented, bitched and gave out plenty and was fuming in the bedroom the night the lads were making noise playing some game in the living room. Eileen is acting the age card very well and if I were in there I would be fed up with her if she didn't at least TRY to integrate with the group more. She had a lovely highlights show the night she had the secret task but since then she has become a moany old bag when she could really be a young at heart great housemate.

That's not quite the same as sniping at someone, feigning innocence to gain sympathy and then lying about what actually happened.

Slevin 27-05-2015 06:59 PM

the whole thing with Kieran was bs from her. she twisted what he said and was trying to play victim. Kieran didnt say anything bad at all. he even apologized when he shouldnt have at all.

Amy Jade 27-05-2015 07:06 PM

Eileen is one of my faves but I don't see how she's been treated badly. I think she brings up her age as much, if not more, than other housemates.

The biggest incident I can remember is her isdue with Kieran, he never said anything offensive - he simply said older people he knows need more sleep, Eileen jumped on him for it for no reason, she could have simply said something along the lines of 'welI I don't' but she saw an oppertunity to gain sympathy.

She overreated to Sarah too, Sarah said she didn't feel Keiran was ageist and Eileen got the hump. I guess she's left me wondering how much she enjoys playing the victim.

chuff me dizzy 27-05-2015 07:09 PM

Totally agree, she's been treat awfully,so has Cristian ,by the same people Harriet,Sarah and Jade ,thats why I really want both of them to stay longer than those 3

So because she's older, she's not allowed to bitch and let off steam like the others?

I agree that Eileen shouldn't have said anything about her nomination but that didn't mean Jade HAD to open her trap and say that BOTH of hers were a walk in the park. That was far worse imo and she was only trying to score points.

Jade's been pushing her luck with the other HM's for two weeks now. The superior attitude, Influencing nominations, Using Nick (and Cristian) to get maximum airtime, bitching to the others about Eileen and the twins, flaunting her luxury food in front of the others and not giving a damn how hungry they were, Pretending that BB MADE her bring food out of the DR to eat herself when she was given a choice.

Eileen's problems with Jade didn't just spring from nowhere. Jade's had it in for Eileen since day 1. What is she (or anyone else) supposed to do when the annoying little bint carries on like this? Should Eileen just sit there and shut-up because she's a "middle aged woman"?

and nobody (including Eileen) said anything about her age until Kieron mentioned it in the first nominations - that was when everybody followed suit and they've used it as an excuse ever since. If they don't like her they should say it instead of pussying around.

Speaking of Kieron, his conversation with Eileen was meant to be sorted out between the two of them, so why did Cristian open his gob? Don't get me wrong, I like Cristian, but nobody asked for his opinion so it was none of his business to butt in. Same goes for Sarah.

Eileen is no angel but at the same time I can understand why she get's frustrated and angry if this is what she has to deal with.

Adamw92 27-05-2015 08:04 PM

I used to think the same but now I think what Sarah said on last night's show was spot on, she has made her age an issue herself but pulls the "poor me, you're using my age against me" argument when someone else mentions it.

bots 27-05-2015 08:09 PM

I'm not keen on attacks on her appearance, but with regard to anything else, she has largely been responsible herself for the way she has been treated. I've said this before, she should have made being older an advantage to her rather than a liability as she has done, and that is purely down to her.
