FIFA 16 to include Women's National Teams for the first time
 

To be honest, I'm excited about this, the reaction on twitter by some people isn't too good though.

Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and US will be the Twelve Teams.

They will not be playing any men's sides though.

As long as they get overalls no higher than 20 I'm good with this.

Working on something about 1% of the fifa community will use and not improving the game itself, EA are becoming just as much of a joke as Big Brother.

It's the truth I'm worried about.

Not sure why people are finding negatives in this. Actually finding the response to be a little shocking tbh.

I very much doubt creating 12 additional teams is having any real impact on development resources, especially for a heavyweight like EA.

Waiting for the female player ratings to be a controversy either way though... lose lose situation there.

I think the only real controversy is how much better overall the US team is compared to the other countries. They won't let you have any of the women's team play the guys so it really doesn't matter to me in that regard

They did use a few US players (Wambach, Leroux, Rapinoe, and Morgan) and Canadian National Team to do the women's mocap.
