Week 2 or Week 3?
 

Bit of a random query really, but I wondered whether you class this current week as Week 2 or Week 3?

I personally see it as the latter, I deem Week 1 to have ended on the first Friday (Day 4), meaning Adjoa was evicted at the end of Week 2 (Day 11) etc, and the Wikipedia nominations table (yes, I know it's Wikipedia etc :laugh:) is set out like that, but a lot of people are referring to it as Week 2.

Basically, if there had been an eviction on Day 4, like in BB13, I reckon the following week (when Adjoa left) would have been classed as Week 2 by more people, as it was in BB13 when Chris left on Day 11.

Like I said, it's a random topic but I was just wondering. :joker:

Okay, but why do you see it as Week 2? As I said, the week of Chris' eviction in BB13 was classed as Week 2 from what I remember, and he left on the exact same day as Adjoa. If she was a Week 1 evictee, so was he and vice versa.

Unless people class Week 1 as the first week with a public vote eviction? It doesn't really matter, I was just wondering becuase there's a bit of a difference in opinion on the week online.

Week 3

Day 17 is closer to Day 14 than Day 21, so it's Week 2. If the eviction was on Day 18 then I'd say it was Week 3 :laugh:

"Weeks" in BB are usually determined by how many rounds of nominations there have been which lead up to culminating with the Friday eviction tbh

There are 7 days in a week and the first week had 4 days, which is closer to 7 than 11 is.

Week 3, by technicality.

Week 1 ended on Day 4, it was just a short week. You can't have a week with more than 7 days.

I'm glad you asked this question because it reminds me that I'm not the only person who gets bothered by trivialities like this.

I consider it Week 2 currently, and my "rule" has always been that the week ends with a Friday eviction. That's why I consider Simon and Adjoa to both be Week 1 boots, but for BB13 I consider Victoria a Week 1 boot and Chris a Week 2 boot. Definitely not a full-proof method, but that's always been my rule of thumb. Plus, Adjoa just FEELS like a Week 1 boot to me.

Hate the twist. What about the nominations??? Big brother doesn't want the one's nominated to go anywhere for ratings!!!! So decided to put there own twist in there. Been a big brother fan for years, I am no longer a fan after that. To be honest it's not fair on the housemates who are u!!!

I just realised my mentality of "A Friday ends the week" is not always correct as BB11's first eviction was Day 10, which would have had to have been the second Friday but it's still classed as Week 1 (which fits with the way you look at it).

I guess it's because what I've been viewing as Week 1 did have an eviction (even if it was launch night), but if nothing happened in those first four days, I'd have probably classed the first round of noms as happening in Week 1.

As I said, it's random and not hugely important but it's just one of those things that gets in my head when BB's on. :joker:

Actually, that's pretty much how I see it too. It's all based on how many Friday eviction there have been IMO.
