If danny done that to sarah what would you say?

The fact that your using him being drunk as an excuse for that idiotic behaviour.
jeremys ejection in cbb was not treated like this probably because he is straight.

I agree Jemal,Aaron was totally in the wrong here.

Another thread using a sequence of hypothetical situations?

Yeah Aaron was 100% in the wrong here, being drunk is no excuse for anything really he should have stopped playing around when Joel wanted him to stop. Joel may have been laughing but the laugh wasn't a "this is hilarious" kind of laugh. Some people laugh due to feeling awkward and uncomfortable. Joel's face told us how he felt.

Whats wrong with a hypothetical situation, I think it puts the point across clearly to the people arguing that it is sometimes okay or less severe in this instance

Because it changes everything.
The events are there recorded there's no guesswork or supposition required.. Just comment on the situation as is.

The event recorded and the hypothetical situation both describe the same actions. If your opinion on the two situations are different to each other then you probably didn't watch the situation as it was recorded, hence, the hypothetical situation was effectively used in this instance.

Job done, Jemal.
