It was more of a vulgar and disgusting personal attack insinuating that she is a slut and sleeps around. So yes, she can take banter. This wasn't banter, it was an attempt to embarrass and humiliate her - which bullies like to do.

Bullies will only respond to the same treatment/ aggression - which both Chloe and Danny gave.

Like right now: Marc is now trying to pick on Jade

She's allowed to be at the end of her tether especially after losing 4 friends

In all fairness his comments were crude and vulgar.
He only knew her for about ten minutes.

Lets face it that's not something you say to someone you've literally just met. Not banter, just a pathetic comment to cause a reaction, and it worked for Marc!

That was not banter

Apart from having something horrible said to her, she had just seen some of her friends
leave the house. She was entitled to be upset. It was also good to see her at the fore front of some action for once.

That wasn't banter, it was a crass comment intended to embarrass her.

I think under normal circumstances Chloe may have taken it as a joke. But what Marc failed to take into account was the fact that she was upset about the others leaving.
At least he went and sorted it out with her afterwards. I still don't like him, but I'm prepared to give him a chance, mainly because he doesn't like Jade. (Or says he doesn't)

The comments was not banter, does anyone talk to someone that way with in meeting them within a few hours - he was on a mission target the weak housemates.
