Did anyone hate last nights show?

I've enjoyed BB up until now (at a push!) but the Beta task was a load of ****e.

It gave Marc another opportunity to be a class 1 nobhead, don't get me wrong he makes great viewing, but the use of his vulger language, renaming the housemates degrading names, and the truth task it was inevitable that they were all going to get shocked regardless of if they were telling the truth.

BB seem to think that as a viewer i want to see people degrade themselves, to watch a dickhead like Marc, to watch people receive degrading names, to see women be treated like sex objects, i feel BB are really scraping the barrel, and just so you know BB....i did not laugh once during the task last night, i just felt sad that tv has come to this.

Beso 04-06-2015 07:21 AM

Seems to me all the fan/forum fans are just like him with their cruel fat jibes about jack..bb is not what it used to be now they have directed it at the teenage simpleton audience who find someone's weight more important than what they do as a hm. These stupid morons are killing my interest in posting about a show I love.

just thinkin 04-06-2015 07:43 AM

it was like a kids tea party - all they needed was a trampoline. I can see why now they always just roll out the same people for comments / shows like bots. they hit a mental age of about 15 and then they stop. I switched over after about half hour.

rubymoo 04-06-2015 07:49 AM

I'm glad i'm not alone!

I agree. It's pretty obvious that Marq has been briefed to go in and cause as much trouble as possible which he is doing but he takes it too far. Anyone else would have been warned by now for some of the things he has said. There are ways of winding people up without having to resort to being cruel and bringing degrading sexual jibes into it.

Completely turned off by this series now, its trashy and scripted and I don't bother with BOTS anymore.

just thinkin 04-06-2015 08:17 AM

from someone who hasn't watched the show since 2010, I watched bots for the first few nights - and liked it..however, my brain quickly restarted itself and now it turns my stomach. Is this a rent a crowd they get to go on and do they get paid - it seems to be the same audience every night - and some of them looks like their elevator doesn't go to the top floor. a mess of a show.

DemolitionRed 04-06-2015 08:17 AM

Last night was the first time I have ever lost interest in watching the show. After the first 10 minutes it just became background noise in my living room that I glanced at now and again.

There are some really good things being aired on different channels at the moment and if it carries on like this, I'm going to be watching something more entertaining.

Vicky. 04-06-2015 08:18 AM

I actually really enjoyed it  I love seeing them all just have fun.

The end part of the task was stupid though..when they had to dress as clowns and stuff

Got to see the old housemates bullying Simon again

bots 04-06-2015 08:34 AM

I think its way to scripted at a minimum. They primed marc with all the info he could possibly need on the house mates and sent him in with the express aim of stirring things up to increase their ratings. He has also been on other similar reality shows. He is basically a rent a gob

This latest task further puts down the house mates and enforces his position, so we now see a situation of the house mates sucking up to him and then targeting what they see as the weakest link - Simon. I also think Simon is playing a scripted role. He has a reputation for being a nasty, hard man on the outside, and in the house Simon is just trash viewing. No grown man would behave as he does, and BB is insulting viewers intelligence if they think the public will swallow it.

The initial romance with the new house mates is pretty much over for me now. This show is way to scripted and contrived for me.

i still laugh at the electric shocks

Same. Everything feels so forced/scripted and desperate.

Really good observations, sums it up pretty much perfectly for me too.
It is becoming a chore to watch really now for me.

Mick 04-06-2015 09:13 AM

I agree much of the above what interests myself is genuine interactions between HMs.If its correct then I do not understand the need to send in someone like marc to stir things up when the BB is already doing so.

Both he and simon accused the original's of being boring I guess this depends on your interpretation of same but I did not find them so. I am pleased harry is in as I think she will prove interesting but currently I cannot see the entertainment brought by the other three and would have preferred to watch the four who went for longer.

waterhog 04-06-2015 09:18 AM

if marc was briefed do you no how hard it is to against the crowd ? and there is no escape in there. if he is told to cause trouble it won't be long before ie gets his deserts and if he can survive that - well he deserves his position.

it is up to the house mates to find out what is going on and to deal with it.

StephenPullen 04-06-2015 09:42 AM

I thought the task was funny. It was actually nice to see them all having a little bit of fun and banter with the task (it kind of reminded me of old BBs a little).

I am starting to notice insincerity with some of the conversations in the house however. It's like watching TOWIE but in a television studio.

I was actually quite nauseated watching last nights highlights show by Marcs totally shocking language. I created a thread about same. He is a vile, malicious, vain pig of a man and I would be ashamed of him if he was my brother or son or even part of my family. I know I could have turned off the show but my friend was here and wanted to see it
