Chloe - I'm A 25 Year Old Girl

Is it just me who finds it weird that at the age of 25 Chloe still refers to her self as a girl rather then a Woman or a Lady?

rusticgal 04-06-2015 11:21 PM

...well she certainly ain't no lady...:joker:

BB1984 04-06-2015 11:23 PM

Because she is a bit immature?
Or just a slip of the tongue?

ThriceShy 04-06-2015 11:38 PM

What I find odd is that she thinks being a "25 year old girl" is in any way relevant and should affect how simon treats her.

Glenn. 04-06-2015 11:41 PM

Simon is a slimy pig

Recently in a fall-out with a bloke, I said "You shouldn't speak to a 19 year old girl like that." and he even agreed with me. Chloe seems to have quite old fashioned views, like myself. Men should be gentlemen and respect women.

What if the woman was being a jerk to the guy though? Which from what I'm hearing Chloe seems to be treating Simon like ****.

Simon's awful.

But if a woman was being a jerk to a guy who was being completely lovely to her and it was completely unprovoked, then that's a different story.

So women aren't equal to men. Glad we clarified that.

LukeB 04-06-2015 11:59 PM

I thought she was 22

People should be respectful regardless, I don't think females are owed more respect simply because of their sex. That's not equality.

It's like when Harriet shouted at Joel to shut up, and then played the "girl" card when Danny did the same to her, it's a double standard that will never sit right with me.

People should respect people full stop, and that goes for men and women. :)

As a side note, I also don't think her age is relevant. She's 25, not 15.

Lampfan 05-06-2015 12:09 AM

She probably picks and chooses when she is a 25 year old woman and 25 year old girl, depending on the situation.

Either way, I'm shocked she's 25. she acts like a 16 year old.

Yep, I was going to say similar.

Rorkimaru 05-06-2015 12:11 AM

Nah, I'm nearly 27 and calling myself a man seems far too adult a title for me to take up. I don't call myself boy either, I'd probably say lad. I get it though, I don't identify as a grown up. I still live in rented accommodation, I don't have kids or real responsibilities outside myself. I'm not in my head the grown up man yet.

Withano 05-06-2015 12:13 AM

I don't think it's that weird, I don't think she's saying "I'm a child" I think she's just using girl as an informal alternative to lady/woman/female

Withano 05-06-2015 12:15 AM

Cba to put that Britney Spears song up, can everyone just agree it would be hilarious though
