Let's be honest banter is just a form of unpleasant behaviour from heterosexual guys dressed up as humour when it's really a form of degrading, offending, prejudice, bigotry, intimidation, bullying, name calling and insults. The same sort of behaviour that is labelled cat calling and bitching in women and gay guys.

Would Eileen and Jade or any female get away with calling Chloe fat/ phat? Would Harry labelling Chloe as going to an STD clinic come across as #bantz or just mean girl name calling? Would Aaron or Simon not be labelled misogynist gays for labelling Sam a c#m#mbucket, would Chloe get away with asking whether Sam had anal sex? Nope.

What annoys me most is when they get called out on it and then act like the one's on the receiving end are humourless idiots who can't take a joke. At the end of the day the word "banter" is just another word for throwing insults around and having a good old bitch.

Yes but apparently that is generally accepted in the house as honesty. Marc is considered more honest because he will shoot you in the face? hmmmm.

Labelling it as hetro/gay/bi behaviour is a childish,simple and silly comment to make. Do you have to be Hetrosexual to take the piss out of someone?
I think Marc is a nob but trying to label a certain type of behaviour as belonging to any sexual orientation is just bigoted,offensive and stupid.

He always ends his insults with its only banter, i was only joking, when it was anything but. If it was a joke/banter, he wouldn't need to define it as such after saying it.

This is the sort of entertainment the producers think we want to see????

If Marc was to stand up in court for murdering someone, his plea would most probably be "it was just banter".

Literally the the first thing I'd do as the next newbie is fight fire with fire and say the same things to him as he did to Sam, except I'd go further and bring his parents into it, does your parents are cmbucket, does your brother/sister/ dad like taking anal sex and seehow he reacts, if he gets upset I'd flash a grin and say "just banter".

I think banter is good but most of us know the difference between intended fun and causing hurt.If you cross the line unintentionally you say sorry mean it and do not repeat.

Marc knows the difference but continues with same.As another poster mentioned often attempting to off load the blame on the injured party.They all go into the house having some expectation of what might happen but I feel some of his banter is no longer funny.

Last night BB called him to the DR and said that's enough for today to me this was telling him that he is fine to continue with same in the future.Why are they cutting him this slack.? It must be because they feel it makes good TV.
