Congratulations to Marc - For being handed £150,000

It seems they're doing the Time Warp twist (another one!) the week they know he'll be up (with Simon) and people won't resist the chance to unleash him on some ex-housemates in a secret room (another one) where he'll no doubt get access to a 24/7 feed (like everyone does apart from the viewers). We all know the popularity of HMs goes up when they become the focus of attention in this way, so congrats to the Producer's Pet.

So true

Josy 05-06-2015 09:59 PM

Big Marc swaggering in 2 weeks late, taking control of the house and being handed the prize money (apparently)

What a guy :idc:

Yep. But who cares anymore. The show is bound to be axed after this series. They sure as hell will never do what anyone wants.

He'll still be evicted in the month or so left

Because no one's watching except the fans

What a producer's pet. Their own little goblin.

Exactly, as soon as he's up for real he's out.

I'm sure you said this for a reason but I can't think of one example of the top of my head? Help me out?

I agree. If he gets a pass to the final then I think even I would switch off. He is a male equivalent of Helen to be honest.

He won't be. They are building the show around their pet, they will not let him go. Let's stop pretending he's an underdog here. He's got the people making the show behind him and is now almost the favourite to win and is about to go into a secret room (which always boosts a HMs popularity)

Michelle and Emma became the favourites to win. Gina and Dexter became even more popular. Helen was put into a secret room in the final week during the vote to win - we all know what happened next.

it is highly likely that simon and marc will be nominated next week, and as BB have thrown simon under the bus with consistent bad edits, there is no way voters will vote for anyone but mark. So it is a setup, and gives him at least a week for his redemption story (after next weeks Danny vs Mark storyline). I still think he has been paid/directed, its just not real.

Jemal 05-06-2015 10:37 PM

It brings a tear to my eye.
What a guy

joeysteele 05-06-2015 10:40 PM

I wouldn't mind Marc winning it in the end however,he wouldn't be my first choice to do so.
He has brought loads to this series in my view.

Didn't watch the Helen series because I don't like stabbing myself in the throat either but the other 4 were already popular.

If the room was part of the reason that Helen won, I'd happily sign any petition that you have against it though! She is such a ****.

Michelle was not popular at the time. Emma was, even more so afterwards. And Dexter and Gina became even bigger favourites after their stint in there. To the point it became a bit irritating.

They had a mock trial which led to Helen being found guilty for the house divide and then they just out of nowhere put her in a secret room to watch the others (along with Chris), knowing full well Ashleigh would say something about her. It all made Helen look more sympathetic and she ended up winning.

Do you mean "will never do what anyone who wants live feed wants" ?

If so, let's say they do "what people want" by making it all more "fair".

Case 1
HMs slip under the radar doing nothing and giving little away until the final. (and it's maybe bad enough already !)

All you end up with is Chloe and Joel in the secret room watching HMs eat their breakfast.
Great ! Everyone wants that.

But more watchable ? Open to debate.
Even if it's "real life" better, where's the incentive to really be themselves when it might offend or make them more unpopular with their HMs ?
Or even harm their chances of winning by what they say on camera ?

Like Simon or not, done himself no favours by being honest has he ?

Case 2
They do VTS.
HMs step up to the plate worried they can't coast along.
Some by acting fake, causing (and winning) arguments
And people STILL complain they're unlikeable, it's unwatchable etc.

So what's this alternate grand vision ?
Genuinely interested to know.

I'm suprised if you can't see Marc's good side tbh.
In many ways think he's one of the kindest in there.
Not convinced he'll win but if he did, could think of far worse winners.

Mystic Mock 06-06-2015 02:36 AM

Marc won't win, but BB are determined to try and make him a character, it's kind of sad considering this show could get naturally big characters like Science, Makosi, Kemal, Derek, Victor, Ahmed, Luke, Rebecca, Michelle, Marco, Craig Coates, Grace, Nikki, Shahbaz, Sezer, Lea, Lisa BB7, Mario BB9, Ben, hell even the wanker that was John James was more entertaining than any of these lot in BB16.

GLENN BILL BB7 06-06-2015 02:39 AM

I cant take Marc as a serious housemate, I think he's acting, He doesn't even look real either, He's like a Ken doll.
