Marc to Danny, "I'm GOING TO KILL YOU"?
 

When danny was trying to calm the mighty mouse down at the diary room door, I am almost positive that marc said "then I'm going to kill you" as Danny walked away.

Did anyone else here this, I know it can be difficult to understand the knob, but I am sure after re watching it a good ten times that this is what he actually said.............................................. ...


Surely to god that is a straight ejection.

Maybe if he had a kitchen knife in his hand at the time, but as a figure of speech...I'm sure they can let it pass

watch it for yourself, it is the last thing marc says as danny walks away, i added a question mark to the op as i am not 100 percent sure..i'm hoping some irish forum member cculd translate.......and what the **** is "her knacker":joker:

He called her a Knacker which is a slang word for Traveller

(Irish, slang) a despicable person...shut your despicable person...lol...

even if he did say it, It's nothing really everyone says to their friends i'm going to kill you. It's a figure of speech :p

Yeah it is, when I heard him say it I wondered would people complain about it, I'm sure alot of English people wouldn't know what it means but some surely do.

Well if they ignore Harry's 'I'm going to smash his face in' I suppose they'll ignore that too.

mmm It's not always used to refer to Travellers but it's basically either another (derogatory) word for a Traveller or a dirty, scummy person so in that respect it's still insulting to a Traveller

I think I might contact ofcom over this issue!

I think Danny & Marc seem to have been getting along better the last few days.

In Ireland knacker almost never means a member of the traveling community but that is the origin of the term. It is a word I don't use personally however because I do think it's a filthy word but his use was no more racial than if he'd called her Asian. The putting down of Americans in the last CBB was a lot more racially charged, as is forum members dropping Marc's ethnicity in insults towards him (vile Irish womanhater etc). Though the contestants in CBB were using more PC language. I think it's a question of context though I wouldn't justify him saying it since I dislike the word myself.
