Held In Solitary For 43 Years

[Albert Woodfox, now 68,
has been the subject of two
documentaries during more
than four decades in solitary confinement.
US District Judge James Brady,
of Baton Rouge, ordered the release
of Albert Woodfox, 68, on Monday
and barred prosecutors from trying
him for a third time.
Woodfox was placed in solitary
confinement in 1972 after he
was charged over the death
of a Louisiana State Penitentiary
guard in April.
The prison farm is commonly known
as the Angola prison and is
Louisiana's only maximum-security prison.]
