How are they supposed to wash their clothes? I haven't seen a washing machine so am assuming they use the bathtub with washing powder

Yes, they do it by hand.

They brought it back for BB14. But I haven't seen it since.
I remember also, you'd see clothes stands in the house.

You don't see that anymore. Where do they put their wet clothes?

Why does Big Brother not provide a washing machine in the house for the housemates?
I can't imagine it's easy to wash clothes by hand

Probably during the many clips when he isn't wearing it. How often do you wash yours?

I don't have a dressing gown, especially not in summer. ;)

Anyway, he's always wearing it and it would take ages for a 100% wool dressing gown to dry out. :joker:

I'd say four days.

We sometimes see HMs do washing. I was rewatching bits of last year and it showed Ashleigh doing her clothes, but only because she was talking at the time.

I'd say four days.

A fleece one will dry in a couple of hours. It's just plastic after all. TBH I'd say BB is providing a laundry service. Keeps the housemates from doing normal mundane things and saves them for manufactured drama.

Also the reason they wouldn't have a machine in the house is because they're rather loud and microphones are very sensitive. Even with 2-3 machines in the house they'd be running nigh on constantly and then the audio for the show would be completely shot. The two options are hand washing (the better one IMO) or a laundry service a bit away from the living space in the house.

True, it is something they rarely show now at all.
We really have no idea if it is has never been washed or has been once or even more than once.
Maybe he has 2 the same too,who knows.
